What is the beauty you speak of? I don't understand
@wadeross63116 ай бұрын
It is beautiful and natural…….the media likes to scare and dramatize natural events so the Liberals/NDP can tax people more…..then give tax payer money to media.
@TimDyck6 ай бұрын
That is part of the beauty of it. Everything works in balance, the forest gets old it burns or has a bug kill and is renewed. Wildlife flourish in the underbrush that comes up after a fire. And in this case a bill slides, silt is taken downstream and deposited producing a fertile flood plain. Since the last ice age this cycle has been going on.
@jasonbednar35976 ай бұрын
@@TimDyck I understand what you're saying and I agree. The workings of nature are beautiful AND awesome to behold. However I fear this is a man-made disaster

The title should be "Old shack swept away in Chilcotin River landslide"
@Alwayswilling6 ай бұрын
The shack was long abandoned and falling apart. It's really a stretch to use it as a loss as it would have fallen into the river soon anyway, but hey, if you need to kick up your video with something more than rushing water I'm sure some viewers would call it a loss of property instead of an improvement to the river front.

I saw the full video where the helicopter films the old shack from above the river for a while and nothing happens. It then flies to the land side of the shack and then around, wouldn't you know it the shack falls in the river. It had nothing to do with the prop wash helping the shack into the water for a more dramatic shot. The news would never manipulate a story would it.
