I realized I needed to stop when the whites in my eyes were yellow. I went from 4 30 pks 3 Jim Beam's a day. To being completely sober cold turkey it was the worse feeling I ever had. I'm sober today 18 yrs and counting I did it for me. I can honestly say without a doubt I drank to mask pain. I'll also say this yes it was the best decision I ever made but truthfully sobriety sucks. I have nothing but love and respect for you Struggle, you and Jelly-Roll really have helped me through some tough times I almost went back to the bottle. Thank you for your music.

This song hits hard. I saw Struggle in Des Moines IA, and I loved his show. I also did a meet and greet with him, and he made a video for my kids on my phone to send to them. All 4 of my kids have been fostered and adopted. Now I’m dealing with separation and divorce (none of which was my choice). It hurts because the people who are most impacted are the kids. I was kind and nice throughout all of it and I’m still trying to be nice, but it’s hard when I’m not treated fairly. I hurt the most for the kids and all they’ve gone through, and now have a new challenge in life to deal with.

Man this song really hits home no doubt about it. To any person who is going through some rough and hard times right now please don’t ever give up. No matter how bad it seems life is or how much it hurts you inside you gotta keep fighting those demons. I promise you everyday you wake up and do positive things in your life time will heal your pain and there’s a helluva lot better days on the way! Drugs and alcohol just dim the pain for a few hours and and will only lead you down a path of darkness. Been there done that so many times it’s pitiful but I finally realized these things before it was too late to save myself!!! Lost my brother in Nov and damn it hurts so F~N bad and it always will. I’m stuck thinking wtf should I or could I have done differently to make life better for him so he would still be here. And I figure her mom is deep down hurt that our child has grown so close to her daddy... I never wanted her mom to hate me for that. I actually hoped she would see the beauty in it and love and appreciate me for it. But instead I've gotten a mass amount of resentment and self projection. She's had men threaten my life. Put pistols in my face. Tell me thier my child's father now. Tell me if I didn't stop trying they would hurt me. And understand my life moto has always been.. "I'm a lover not a fighter...
