I’m not Team O by any means. I’m with SS and M-Dogg all the way but consider how they each got only 17k (in dollars) after the first game. That old man is 6.8 MILLION (dollars) in debt. And then consider how Gi-hun got them through the first game and then said he played the games before. In honesty, why wouldn’t you be Team O in these circumstances? I want the Netflix alligators in season 3 though.

Because choosing team O while there's half a room of people clearly not wanting to die for it anymore, means you'd kill all of them and have no trouble risking their lives just to pay your debt. Choosing team O makes you implicit in the deaths of those who die as team X because your choice directly kept them from being able to leave.
