IMPORTANT - Just to let those who dont know. Aside from a few minutes at the very end, everything you see was what zack had originally shot. There is zero footage from what Joss Whedon shot. Anything in this movie that was there in the theatrical cut was shot by zack only originally. Basically all the scenes that were amazing in the theatrical cut was zack snyders footage.

I know I'm late... but I HATE how they did steppenwolf, he was really cool all movie then gets clapped by superman, IMO movies where characters from a franchise come together to fight something is because that's the only way they can defeat the villain, this movie could've been a stand-alone superman movie and it would've ended in 30 minutes with how OP superman is.

WB will not let Snyder touch another DC property again. BVS and JL are financial failures. This is a business and they feel like Snyder cost them billions of dollars with his failed DCEU. With both the Dark Knight movies making over a billion WB commands more money for their properties. Zack doesn't appeal to the masses, yeah he appeals to the KZbin and internet fanboys but that's not what matters to the heads in charge. They wanted several more billions out of MOS,BVS, and JL and rightfully so.

They make you sympathize with Steppenwolf which pretty much says they made a good villain when you see why he is doing it of course you don’t really agree with the way they go about it but still make you see it from their perspective. Also in my opinion and I think even Snyder said this is pretty much Cyborgs movie.
