Yeah, if you go back and rewatch Man of Steel and BvS, the scenes with the General actually make sense why he was all “let’s let this alien do his thing and if he can’t handle his biz, I’mma roll out and finish it for him.” That’s why he wanted to keep tabs on Superman, but not interfere with his plans, nor was he worried about the destruction he could do since he (as Martian Manhunter) would save humanity if that were to happen...I’m telling you, Snyder is a damn good storyteller and THE DC GOD!!

Zack confirmed that she can fly, it's not needed at the present since her adversaries are mainly on the ground. That's just like she didn't need her shield and sword in 84 b/c she wasn't fighting against godly threats. Her abilities are used when appropriate. The idea is that Manhunter kept an eye on Lois after Superman died. He and Lois developed a friendship during BVS, when he helped her prove Superman's innocence. He used the form of Martha to get Lois to pick her life back up again. And also because he felt guilty launching a nuke against Superman when he fought Doomsday.

This cut did representation better than any recent movie I’ve seen outside the Fast and Furious franchise. Before you laugh, here me out. We have a prominent female character who is treated as a respected, formidable team member. It’s not constant ass shots and guys commenting on how much they want to sleep with her. Barry makes the one crack, is immediately shut down by Victor, and that’s THAT. Jason Momoa’s race is never a thing. Neither is Cyborg’s, or his parents, or Ryan Choi, or Iris West, or Martian Manhunter. They’re just allowed to be people. Joke on F&F all you want, but those movies are packed with minorities and it’s never a THING. Real people don’t suddenly stop in the middle of Target and yell I AM NOT OF THE WHITE RACE, and it’s nice to see a movie where people are just PEOPLE, even if they’ve got superpowers.

Yeah a lot of people miss that the guy they defeated was Uxas. Steppenwolf said “Before mighty Darkseid came to the throne.” hence when he was Uxas. I bet the betrayal was Steppenwolf trying to usurp Darkseid when he took the throne. But the glowing eyes are a give away that he has the Omega Force now. But Snyder made the mistake of Diana knowing his name was now Darkseid. They shouldn’t have known about that. Would have been cooler if it were a “he who must not be named” issue because it would have made more sense. The Amazonian monuments about the war shouldn’t have said Darkseid either.

Honest question: in the flashback of Darkseid’s battle against everyone(old Gods, Amazons, Atlantians etc). When he struck the ground and that design of fire formed, wasn’t that the sign of anti-life? So when Steppenwolf did the same and later verified that Earth had the anti-life...wouldn’t Darkseid know that already from his past visit? Someone please help me make sense of this, I’m a bit slow...

Darkseid owns the mother boxes that help him conquer the worlds, but in the history lesson, we see that he had to run and leave the mother boxes behind. During his mission, he coincidently found the anti-life but was not able to acquire it cause he was defeated. Now in the present time, he was able to track mother boxes cause they are awake, someone online explained that these boxes act as GPS, in finding various things, for example, the location of earth and anti-life. So Darkseid knows that anti-life is out there on that planet, but he does not know exactly where. And I guess Steppenwolf has been conquering the worlds in search of boxes all this time cause he has his own debt. There is also a theory that due to the signal from the boxes, Darkseid already knows that it's the same planet with anti-life, he is still ordering Steppenwolf to get it, cause he knows that it will not be easy and he might end up dying. Kinda like sending someone on a suicide mission cause they betrayed in the past.

One thing to consider, any different version of a movie is actually a cheat. People online talk about how great the movie is now. However, it is obvious that some of this was improvised and not in Snyder's original vision. For example, this Steppanwolf villain, everyone knew how bad this villain looked and it was all over the internet as well. These days; Directors, Producers and other entertainment creators all review certain sites on what fans want. They use this to improve their product as well as original errors. ''YOU CAN DO THIS WITH ANY MOVIE OR ENTERTAINMENT.''. IMAGINE IF AGE OF ULTON WAS REDONE, IT WOULD BE ONE OF THE TOP MCU MOVIES OF ALL TIME. ULTON WOULD BE MORE SERIOUS LIKE HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE THEY WOULD AND THEY WOULD UPDATE OTHER ERRORS.

No, Zack's version was always the original version that was filmed. After his daughter's passing, the studio butchered and did the crappy reshoots and changed things that made no sense.
