One of the reasons she was so scary was not because of that actually, it was her unorthodox training that served her well. See, her master (The one killed in Return) taught her philosophies used mainly by the sith. Even a style using a dual-bladed lightsaber. Since the double-bladed lightsaber was seen as a weapon, not a tool, Jedi rarely used it since it was mostly use to kill and fight, which went against the philosophy of the Jedi. Because of those skills, she was tempered to not only have a strong mind, but also a highly skilled body to the point she was a nightmare to fight against. Darth Malgus though was one of the most terrifying Sith to face of all time, so it's no surprise that Satele Shan, most Jedi, and even most Sith couldn't beat him in a duel, ever. He even invented an ability that was so hard to master, that one of the only other sith that not only mastered it, but perfected and exceeded it was Darth Sidious. This ability, was called Force Storm (Not the Kotor one, that was just Force Lightning), and it was so destructive and dangerous in the hands of Sidious, that he literally destroyed entire fleets with it. He even had the potential to destroy entire planets with it. And Darth Malgus invented the ability. Not only that, Darth Malgus was an inspiration and role model for Darth Vader and Sidious in their idea of a strong enforcer. Especially since Malgus was one of if not the most dangerous Sith Marauder to ever exist. His death in the end took an entire team of Sith Lords to implement, and most of the team was slaughtered. He's definitely up there as one of the best Sith Lords of all time. Satele Shan eventually became one of the youngest Grandmasters because of her feats and efforts in the Great Galactic War. Helping to rebuild most of the order on Tython and other Jedi Outposts after the war. She was an awesome Jedi, and a good Grandmaster all things considering.

@George Rodger Satele Shan had three masters. Ngani Zho (the one, which you mean), was her first one. Later she had Kao Cen Darach - Battlemaster of the Jedi-Order (the one in "Return"). After his dead she became the padawan of Dar’Nala (which turned to the dark side and died also later in a comic).

Zelene Cool Bella was a newborn, they're always ungodly strong. she was stronger than Emmet, the most physically strong of all of the Cullens, and she trained all day every day (they don't get tired) for the fight with the Voltori, so honestly, I'm surprised she wasn't able to do more

Zelene Cool so because the fight played out realistically, with others jumping in during the fight to protect the one without fighting expirience, it sucked? Also Bella wasn't even in half the fight. They focused more on the characters who could actually fight, making it far more entertaining than it ever could have been had they only focused on Bella and Edward fighting.

She only showed one of the Voltori what happened, and he doesn't have time to formulate a strategy with the other like 30 people he would have to communicate with, and no matter who he goes after, he's probably going to die seeing as how almost all of the Voltori were dead, and the Cullen's hadn't even lost half their army. Also Bella casts a shield on others, it takes concentration. Also age doesn't equal strength, especially since the Voltori haven't been openly challenged to a fight it, well, ever, really. They're old and rusty fighting younger, fresher combatants who have had to fight for everything they had for hundreds of years. It's like a room of Generals fighting officers. They have skill and training, but while the Generals have more expirience, when was the last time they saw a battlefield firsthand? For the Officers, that was last week. Their hubiris was, and always would be their downfall

In the Star Wars EU, power/strength levels get altered all the time. While Luke is widely considered to be the strongest, Jedi and Sith in the old republic had 1000s of years of training and battle experience vs when we first met Luke and Jedi were things of legend. I wouldn't agree with the notion that every Jedi and Sith are stronger, but when it comes down to the top tier, Luke doesn't really hold a candle to certain TOR characters. Sith wise, the Emperor is an entity that literally was able to transcend death through consumption of an entire planet's worth of life force. He does it twice, and is strong enough to turn nearly an entire Imperial occupied world into mindless puppets with his power. Not to mention the Dread Masters, who could destroy entire fleets and use similar feats of mind control as the Emperor and were capable of wiping out both the Republic and Empire until they met their match in PIS. In fact, same as Valkorian, both of those examples were defeated by PIS. Luke, on the other hand, couldn't even beat the budget version of Vitiate/Valkorian without help: Palpatine. In terms of raw power, the best I have ever seen from him is being able to destroy an object the size of a star destroyer and having that extensively tire him out. His speed and techniques are formidable, but they don't really compare to a guy that can literally siphon the life energy of an entire planet as well as six ancient Sith Lords able to turn an entire world to do their bidding with extensive power of the Force (The Dread Masters were capable of Bastila's Battle Meditation, albeit in a darker and destructive manner).

Earlier you watched "The Old Republic - Knights of the Eternal Throne "Betrayed"" which was from a later game expansion. There's one more trailer you should definitely watch from the expansion, called "The Old Republic Knights of the Fallen Empire - Sacrifice". Its characters and timeline are intertwined with the Betrayed trailer. It's definitely worth watching.

The soldier in this video is Jace Malcolm. he is the same guy with the can in Return that escaped with the female Jedi on here as well. Her name is Sateele Shan ( descendant of Bastilla Shaan). The Sith who got pounded is Darth Malgus. His master ( the one with the red face is called Vindican who got killed by the lady Jedi's master. He is the original Sith race. The term Sith was originally a name of a species of people with red skin ). The lady's master who died in returns at the hands of the Darth Malgus is called Kao Cen Darach. I know I'm 3 years late but after that battle Satele Shan and Malcom (that trooper who charged at malgus) had an after party in Malcoms tent ended up having a kid. Satele ended up as Grandmaster of the Jedi order and Malcom ended up as an important figure in the republic.
