Love that you share the struggles, people who don’t machine don’t know the complexity of some of this stuff. Even with the most powerful software it’s still challenging.

As someone who has nothing to do with your area of expertise and watches for simple entertainment, I have to say this is one of the most interesting videos I've seen while following Titans of CNC over the last several years. Well done! 👍👍

This one is going on my list of favorites. I enjoyed the 'real talk' about the challenges behind the scenes at TITANS of CNC. The fact that Barry makes it appear so easy is a true testament to his skill set.

Hero work!, is what I've always called that kinda work, being in the industry for over 35 years myself... it's cool that you are able to share some of the crazy things you've had to make... I myself have had to make some similar things that couldn't be videoed or shared but what I'll say about my experience with this kinda stuff is that I did like the challenge... it keeps things interesting but can really put some years on your life... I remember back in the mid 90s I was doing a job for Lockheed and I had to take the entire machine enclosure off the machine and had the control hanging by 2 cables from the ceiling inorder to make that particular part... I feel and respect your pain... love the video's and all that you guys do to offer guidance and strategies to our industry... I appreciate you...

There’s no way I could own a machining company and do this for a living. Too much stress and sleepless nights. I had not much stress but I did have sleepless nights owning a gun shop. Always thinking about did I do this and I need to do that tomorrow. 🙄 I can’t imagine what goes through your mind when you lay down to sleep. I hope you live a long healthy life brother.

Its nice to see that even the best machinists have problems from time to time. Could you guys make a video that show your thought process for figuring out a complex part in real time? Even if its on your academy. It would help me understand the process and help me develop the correct mindset for solving my own problems.

The #1 issue I have with Titan is that up until this video he never addresses all the late hours, over time, blood sweat & tears of very sucessful & professional machinists struggle sesions to turn out a single piece in one go. Things go sideway quickly.

You guys do impressive work. Everyone always comes to the machinist with their labor pains and we deliver the baby. .. The failure of the song was that you can set a constant feed on the machine.. so the math should have been dont with the grooves to create the beat. You had far more control over that than pitch.again still impressed, I would not bid against you for finish or quote times.

I find that the hardest parts are those not designed to be done on CNC. Like old car parts that were stamped and never milled. If you design with the limitations of CNC in mind you don't put undercuts on the part for your 3 axis machine or overshoot the work envelope etc.

On most horizontal machines you can lift the pallet in maintenance mode then estop the machine and then rotate the the whole apc by hand. Great trick if you're worried about clearance too.
