I want friends like you. This isn’t to idolize; I just agree with your viewpoints. I see myself in you and I wish I had more people around me like that! It’s healthy to discuss these feeling with other Christians. If we don’t I feel like that leaves us feeling unbearably isolated.

I'm so Happy I found your channel . I struggle with all these things as a Christian I struggle with trying to be perfect everyday. I grew up in a Christian Church and never really cared that much or tried to understand what it meant to follow Jesus I'm 26 and just 4 months ago I found convicted and gave my life to Jesus . I wake up some days i'm miserable because I struggle with trying not to sin everyday and this world we live in just makes it that much harder . I know Jesus died for all my sins and I just so grateful for his Mercy🙏❤️ today was one of those days where I feel down and came across your channel. Thank you for all that you god bless you . By the way I stay in Arizona too😍

Im in the same position as you right now. Struggling with trying to be a good christian and trying to have a daily, close relationship and prayer life with God. It really is so hard when almost everyone is just living for themselves and telling others [especially us younger people] that we should just do what makes us happy and live to please ourselves. No one is out there saying we should live for God or live a life that shows Jesus living in us. Mainstream media is in fact promoting the opposite of this. It is so hard because i dont have any christian friends and the people at my church seem to already have a clique of their own. I just want someone that can help me and we can encourage each other in our walk with God. I wish i had a friend like Kian. I dont even have one real friend. I know Jesus is all i need but sometimes i just want one person who i can talk with and they understand what i am going through, without judging and without giving worldly advice. I want a close relationship with someone who turns to scripture when trying to comfort or encourage me... i want this so much🥺

I’ve been a Christian since very young and I still struggle with those because we are all human so what you said at the end sums it up perfectly. If any seasoned Christian says they don’t struggle then they are not human or are just self righteousness! Thank you Jesus for your grace because Your grace is sufficient!

Amen! "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (I John 1:8-10)

Hello, Kian! I really enjoyed this video. I believe I struggle with these 5 things as well so I am constantly putting my trust in Jesus which has helped so much! I agree that most entertainment and media are not nourishing to the soul so I’m also currently searching for Christian KZbinrs since I rarely watch television anymore. When it comes to being interested in a guy that’s also a Christian, I also tend to let my feelings take over and see him as a potential husband without fully taking it to God like I should. Excited for more of your videos 👍

PREACH GIRL!! I love the part about trust God to convict his followers, I feel like we've lost so many to the enemy because people feel compelled to tell others what to do and put others down. Ones relationship is between them and God! When you develop your relationship with Christ you know when your doing something wrong you feel it! You read his word and he speaks to you. God is a loving God and he is perfect in his ways. TRUST HIM TO DO HIS JOB ❤️

Christ does tell we Christian that it is a rough road. I am far from perfect too but only God is perfect, we just strive to do the right thing. That being said I always try to remember that life on earth really does go by so fast the older we get. So I just look at it as life on earth is so temporary compared to the eternity we get to have with Christ. Always remember there are a lot of people in a relationship that want out just like there are people not in a relationship that want one. (The grass is never greener on the other side.) I will pray for you also! :)

I love your humility as a Christian. I was like yes to quite a few of your points. It is very difficult to find quality wholesome entertainment these days. I feel that since same sex marriage became legal there is at least one gay person or couple in almost every TV show. Then we as Christians are criticized because others say we spread hate next we believe that being gay is a sin. We shouldn't ever criticize other Christians online because the only things we know about them is what they share in a blog or a KZbin video or a Facebook profile. None of those can ever replace real life and how well we get to know each other in real life. Which is why it's so important that we have a close intimate support system of Christians who can help build each other up in Christ. Personally, I'm a middle school small group leader and I struggle with the feeling of the need to have it all together and be perfect to be in the position I'm in but then other times I'm like the big part of being a small group leader is knowing how to lead by example in hopes that they follow the Godly example that i strive to lead. Christian music. Man there's alot of great Christian music stations out there. Especially online and how easy it is to find online stations. Everyone is doing online nowadays. There are stations for Christian hip hop/rap, Christian rock, praise and worship. There are a ton of Christian music genres out there. My favorite is Christian hip hop. Two of my favorite Christian hip hop online stations are launch radio and jam the hype. Both are great. There are also tons of KZbin vids for Christian music out there. Keep being humble and wise though. Strive to keep learning. Like you said, don't let what others say online affect you because they don't know your journey. They don't know who you are outside of what you share on videos. It's sad that christians judge other Christians online but man that's our sinful selves at battle with the Christians that we are. Anyways, first video I've seen from you. Keep being real. I love people who can be real for God. Thats like one of the most amazing things you can do as a Christian. Keep living for Jesus.

Also. It’s sad to hear your point 2. There’s always room for good critiques as long as we are making right judgments, doing it with love, gentless and grace to build our fellow brothers and sisters. But as you’ve mentioned, when done in an ungracious way, viewers who are new in the Faith or almost there can use it as a stumbling block. Anyway, Thanks for sharing. 💕💕💕

Me and my girlfriend decided to watch a couple of Christian videos today as a part of "our daily bread." We selected you. After viewing, I can say your are very honest and perceptive on the issues you talked about. We are struggling with the same issues and we are in our 50's. The resistance you feel in each of these subjects, is none other than Satan, doing his best to discourage you and every other Christian. Regardless of our struggles, if we will hang on to Jesus, we will get the TKO over Satan at the end of our bout! Prayers to you in your journey and hope to meet with you in Heaven!

I get sucked into KZbin videos and am then convinced that I should buy new clothes, new makeup, new .... and then get all caught up in the standards and the materialism of the world. It does say not to judge people, but you have o remember that it also says to get the log out of you own eye before getting the speck out of someone else’s eye. What I think that means is that deal with your own problems before trying to correct others.

I keep telling myself I don’t want to be a hypocrite when it comes to my actions, it’s difficult because I know I need to unlearn sinful things that don’t align with my walk. The struggle is wholeheartedly giving it all up to God. Letting him into the parts of me that are fighting to hold onto those sinful things that I like… that’s what makes me feel like a hypocrite. One example where I overcame this is I was talking to a woman that also claimed to be strong in her Christian faith, yet was sending me leg pictures while she was at Church… 🤦🏻♂️ (not nudes btw) but still… trying to tempt me knowing that I’m trying to change my ways. So Instead of taking the bait, I ended all talks with her. I saw it as a test. That’s all I can do now, is view everything as a test of my faith. Anyways, I’m done yapping. Great video~

I know this video is a year old so your understanding may have changed but to clarify in case not (/for others reading) re: 8:55 'says in the bible we're not supposed to judge others' this is a common misunderstanding. The point of the passage re: log/eye etc. is re: hypocricy, not mere judgement. In contrast to the misconeived 'never ever judge someone' understanding of the passge, we actually use judgement to discern and distinquish between good and evil (among other things) every day. The point in the passage was 'if you're still engaging in this sin, you have no right to criticise others for engaging in it also.' If you're not engaged in the sin that the person you're judging is, you do in fact have every right to judge them. I would agree in some instances it may be inappropriate to do it over the internet on youtube video comments, but by contrast, depending on the specifics, it really might not be. You yourself go on to tacitly imply judgement may be appropriate providing certain conditions are met (you say 9:22 it's not our place to criticise each other as strangers on the internet if a) we don't know each other, b) what each other lives like and c) what our actions are on the daily, implying that if we did know these things, we would by contrast have every right to judge). And if you're mind moves to thinking of 'without sin/cast first stone,' from my surface understanding this is has nothing to do with judgement (identifying the sin and holding the sinner to account - the woman is still referred to as being caught in adultery, after all) rather than the punishment (stoning). Just wanted to set out for clarity, otherwise very much enjoyed videos I've seen of yours so far.

I agree with a lot you said. Disagree with judging. We are to judge through discernment and in love. If a fellow Christian endorses sinful activities, you are commanded to rebuke them, but with gentleness and kindness. The problem is, a lot of Christians don’t know how to rebuke without being caustic or mean. Not to say that they may not hurt feelings or make a person uncomfortable though. Christians who avoid uncomfortable conversations are complicit in the world’s sin

As being a child of God this is your personal testimony as to what you have experienced on your journey with God. Oh dear other people who called themselves Christian judge you like that you have your own unique amd personal story to tell ...its not their place to judge you. Their ways are not His ways only God and God alone will finish the work he has began in you. So sorry to hear what you have been through...Keep the faith and the courage God bless you!

Christians are told to correct other brothers and sisters in Christ- that is not judging. If a sister or brother is doing sin, we are to correct them. Judging is a whole another situation. Judging is basing on uncertainties. However, it is not judging if you just lied to me. Or if you blasphemy around me. Or if I saw you steal something. Anything you were factually caught in the act is not judging.
@Kian_Wolfgang5 жыл бұрын
Goober yes and people watching a video is basing a lot on uncertainty as they don’t know all the details of a person or situation. That’s my opinion at least.
@goober29645 жыл бұрын
@@Kian_Wolfgang I understand your opinion. Maybe your video contained facts rather vocally or visually while other parts of the video contained uncertainties. It takes time to adjust as we grow in faith. If you know your older videos are getting plenty of criticism because it was your old self, maybe consider deleting that video completely. It isn't the new you and that old you is promoting what may contain factual sinful nature if any (I didn't see most of your videos). Anything that causes another one to stumble with sin, we shouldn't do it.

I have struggled with correcting my friends because each time you do that, you are either considered judge-mental Or holier than thou but more so because you are after all human and have shortcomings, the devil will constantly remind you that who are you to correct them, it’s not like you are perfect. Therefore I often lived a condescending life and in fear, God’s been helping me to realize that He doesn’t use me or love me because I am perfect, He loves my brokenness and thus my weaknesses should never let me agree to what is not right or live anyhow.

EncourageTV on KZbin is cool for movies. The movie Steps of Faith was also really good (that was on another KZbin Channel though) But yeah I understand that whole thing about finding pure but entertaining shows and movies. And yeah only God can judge us! Wrt the consistency, God sees our hearts. He knows when the deep passion may not be there and when you pray He will give you the grace to go forth and pray one more minute or read one more verse.

You should definitely check out Nate and Sutton's channel and Ray Comfort's channel Living Waters! He is an evangelist and I've learned so much from him in the steps in how to evangelize to others at every possible opportunity!! I have my days, as I'm not perfect, but in general, I've been watching Christian sermons and Christian videos (during meals) like yours on KZbin daily, and I've learned so much! I've also learned that in order to absorb the information, you have to be constantly open to a heart change and for God to intervene in your life. (which is hard)

Oh, also, I'm 18, and I really just love your genuineness! I pray that God would help me to become more genuine; it's definitely something I struggle with as a Christian, because avoiding many common earthly sins is easy for me to do, but it used to be because I saw myself as better than others (pride) around me, creating this chasm that would separate me from good, healthy relationships (which can introduce sin in a way, such as jealousy) with others. But ultimately this pride was a defense mechanism to keep me from my insecurities... which makes the whole situation quite convoluted. I'm slowing learning to be okay with people making fun of me when I am my complete self in public because God's opinion is the only one that matters! You have truly been a blessing in my life, and you don't even know it! Ugh, I literally can't wait to watch your "get healthy with me *realistic*" videos!

Sister Kian, you are spot-on. Pop culture isn't just contrary to God's Word; it's now openly hostile to the Lord and His people. We all struggle with this. Christ really opens our eyes to what is truly beautiful when we follow Him. I've always thought of lust as a form of idolatry, since you are putting your desire for something/someone ahead of Jesus. Two examples: the Bible doesn't say that money is the root of all evil; it says in I Timothy 6:10 that it is the love of money that is evil. Also, we are told in James 4:3 that "you ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions." Let's pray for one another that God would give us strength through Jesus to overcome our struggles! And oh yeah: Pureflix :)

PS: We as Christians should support each other in love, without faultfinding or constant selfish criticism. I've been guilty of this and it is incredibly contrary to our Lord's teaching. "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye."

Would you ever consider making a video talking about how to deal with facing a situation where being challanged by an atheist and what to do to not let your faith slip when being encountered by them ?

I recommend “The Chosen”. It’s a multi-season show on Jesus’ life and it’s fabulous! No joke. You can buy it in their website or download their free app, “the chosen”, and watch it there

I rarely watch movies and almost never listen to secular music. If there are some songs I listen to that are not written by christians, they are songs that Holy Spirits puts in my heart, and they always give me message of encouragement. Entertainment for me is watching christian videos, like this one, and if I want something really light I will watch christian videos about dating and how people found each other God's way. At the same time I learn a lot. But if I struggle with lust I even let that be and listen to christian videos about other topics. Why I call this entertainment is because we would always rather seek Jesus for our selves. But when I'm tired I watch these videos :) also, there are good christian music out there like Riley Clemmons. I'm glad to hear christians on youtube get closer to God and being convicted by the Holy Spirit. You're on a right track. It can be struggle in the beginning, but getting closer to Jesus is a bigger prize and when we die to self we come alive. Jesus didn't only die, He also rose back to life, and same resurrection power lives in us, so be encouraged!

I agree that Christians can be very judgmental and that it is not our place to tell others what to do. We don’t save anyone. Jesus does. Our role is to be the light. We should be shining bright-not trying to convict others.

fourth time pasting my comment, again only for clarity (I'm not trying to start an argument or spam) I wanted to make sure you understand that the bible does not outright prohibit us from making 'judgements' in principle (I'm not saying this is your view, but just in case it is, again for clarity's sake and to help you, the comment I made before is as follows): _'I know this video is a year old so your understanding may have changed but to clarify in case not (/for others reading) re: __8:55__ 'says in the bible we're not supposed to judge others' this is a common misunderstanding._ _The point of the passage re: log/eye etc. is re: hypocricy, not mere judgement. In contrast to the misconeived 'never ever judge someone' understanding of the passge, we actually use judgement to discern and distinquish between good and evil every day._ _The point in the passage was 'if you're still engaging in this sin, you have no right to criticise others who are engaged in it also.' If you're not engaged in the sin that the person you're judging is, you do in fact have every right to judge them._ [to add to my original comment also, it is crucial to judge and call out evil and then rebuke in love when we see that someone is self descructing and have the opportunity to 'judge' (identify the sin/form an opinion on someone's actions) and rebuke (seek to correct them/convince them to repent of their sin)] _I would agree in some instances it may be inappropriate to do it over the internet on youtube video comments, but by contrast, depending on the specifics, it really might not be. You yourself go on to tacitly imply judgement may be appropriate providing certain conditions are met (you say __9:22__ it's not our place to criticise each other as strangers on the internet if we don't know each other, what each other lives like, what our actions are on the daily, implying that if we did know these things, we would by contrast have every right to judge)._ _And if you're mind moves to thinking of 'without sin/cast first stone,' from my surface understanding this is has nothing to do with judgement (identifying the sin and holding the sinner to account - the woman is still referred to as being caught in adultery, after all) rather than the punishment (stoning).'_ (edited for italics only)

I went to Next Step and I realized that I want to do missionary studies in University or something, and also become a staff at Next Step. Lately I’ve been listening to Christian music more and praying more often then I would normally do. Problem is that I don’t go to church every Sunday, it’s a on & off thing, but I want to go more often it’s just because I’m known to be extremely lazy and so I can’t ever get up in the morning even if I really want too. I don’t really have to worry about the university and Staff thing because I’m only 12 🤷🏻♀️
