Strut Tower Brace Installed on 2024 S650 Mustang GT

Highlights of the installation! Took about 30 minutes and I didn't show EVERY bolt / nut being removed and replaced. Had to use two hands on the two bolts under the cowl. This is the strut tower brace that came stock on the GT350-R.

you need to lift the cowl up there are two bolts that area bit of a pain in the arse to remove but hey bolt the brace to the firewall triangulating the strut towers and cross brace to the firewall. Push pins will not hold that brace.

@shawnmcandrew6923 Hi Shawn. Yeah, I did take care of those bolts….couldn’t show it on video because I had to use two hands to get under the cowl to access the bolts (using my phone to record) lol. Anything that required two hands to do, I couldn’t record. 😄. The push pins just hold the cowl to the frame. Sounds like you’ve done this yourself! It’s a pretty easy install. Now I want a NICE aftermarket rear spoiler. Not too many of them made yet. Thanks for chiming in my friend and thanks for viewing the vid. 🙏🏻👍🇺🇸

Yeah....I thought about the wipers and cowl removal, but being the lazy guy I am....I chose to scrape up my hands while reaching under the cowl and uttering a few four-letter words. LOL

You might want to add the cowl extension panel, too. It ties the firewalls together. FR3Z63016A52A

Yes!! Got the B&O. Sound system is very important to me! Sound is sharp and clean at any volume! Just enough thump from the sub without being annoying. Great for a stock system!

Love EVERYTHING. Now that the transmission is breaking in, it shifts firmly and smoothly. The more I drive it, the stronger it seems to get. The car feels so well planted and secure at any speed. The Brembo Brakes stop the car SO quickly, they will make the difference between a close call and a collision for sure! The air conditioning is amazing also - cools off quickly and you can make it COLD in the car on the hottest day. (my glasses fogged up getting out of the car the other day!!!) Cooled seats prevent any body sweat at all. B&O Sound system (again) is VERY good - clean and powerful with crisp, punchy bass. I have NO criticism thus far! Was at a local car cruise this week and the approach lighting and remote rev were a HUGE hit! People loved them.

It's very hard to say which S550 parts will fit. The strut tower braces will fit as the dimensions under the hood remain the same. I wouldn't buy anything until you see them listed as "fitting 2024 Mustang" on the website you are buying from. There are a lot of changes in the S650 so just look for "fits 2024" next to any parts you are looking up online. There should be a BUNCH soon!

No added HP, but it stiffens up the front end to help keep the tires planted squarely on the pavement. You can feel the difference when cornering hard or going over bumpy or wavy roads. Good mod cuz it’s inexpensive and improves the handling.
