Wow. This is great. Real time responsiveness and the section analysis on the graph is superb. I used the original stryd for sprinting drills. It was ok but there was still a little way to go. It seems to be getting better and better for sprint and middle distance runners. Looking at foot recovery etc during fast intervals, looking at footpath and how it evolves in a 100m sprint from acceleration to max v. All very interesting pieces of data. Gonna go and order two right now!

Nice presentation, Angus. And nice work Stryd team. I am persuaded to purchase the second pod. I think the new metrics can be more useful for runners if they can be professionally interpreted for individual cases. I am wondering if it is possible for duo user to have some individual training advises based on these new metrics in order to, say, boost the running economy or avoid injury. Again, very glad to see the new features!

I was just going to click the upgrade button but on closer reading there is no left and right power breakdown, is that right? ie if y rFTP is 300w can I see that my right is 145w and my left 155w???? that would be the #1 bit of info for me

I was wondering how much more precise the power measurement of stryd will be with two stryds compared one each shoe compared to one stryd. Will Stryd be updating the Treadmill workouts to show and say the incline that you should be at for the lap as it does the power? I am probably the only person who doesn't like to have my phone when I run and just use the music on my Harmon watch.

Every runner is unique in their patterns. We plan to develop tools to help you understand your baseline and when you start to deviate from that baseline.

The biggest impediment to sustained running power in, especially in the summer, is environmental conditions. Stryd does have a temperature and humidity sensor, and I know that Apple Watch uses can know view that data in real time, but when are Garmin users going to get that feature. I'd also like to see the realtime temperature and humidity data in power centre. That data could also be used in race predictor to accurately gauge the conditions you'd been training in.

I have stryd +. Quite useless if you already have a Garmin. You need to pay for the subscription to get any value. Great for professional runners. Not usable for me.
