That double down is hard! I had like 15 hc cards, and i hit Adley, and Polar Bear, those were the only 2, that i didnt double down, on! The rest, no-can-do! 😂

Because there are so many different variations based on which format you open, I decided to stick with just Hangers for Series 1 and it worked out well. I hit all the different SP's except the Golden Mirrors, and even a Platinum RC 1/1. I haven't hit a single Golden Mirror this year or last out of retail, and I have ripped a ton of it. Hobby seems to be the way for those if you are chasing. I'll probably stick with hangers to start with Series 2 as well.

I'm working on a value sheet video for series 2 and I can confirm that there is a better way of pulling Golden Mirrors in a certain format.

2024 base set is really an attractive set, both design wise and photo wise. What I do wish though is that Topps would put some effort into the back of the cards, it's a shame each year the back looks the same even though it's 50 percent of the real estate of the card.

Im not sure ehy prople have been complaining zbout the base rookoe checklist....we csn say it may be top end pitcher heavy, but the Japanese guys will sell and Harrison has Ace "stuff", not to mention the hitters rookies have a handful of potential stars in a few years. As long as the SP rookies arent like 1 in 5 cases, this should be a very intriguing set!

Neither, Series 1 & 2 are junk wax, unless you hit a monster card, you're not gonna get anything of value, spend your money on something better like Inception or or bowman where you can hit better players more easily.

It's not even really Topps anymore. They're bought out Prices are jacked up. quality has stunk since they took over, poor random sequencing 'Ker-stad. " Is the correct pronunciation. It's not affordable for families and greedy has made it gambling lite. So yeah, it's not really enjoyable as it was. Money we can donate perhaps. I don't know. All photos feel the same , nothing original. Compare to Score 96 or Donruss 84 fleer 82 any 90s tsc. Something's off with the feeling. Not fun anymore.
