This pedal takes me to places I love, wether I've seen them before or not, I also love the color of the chassis, feels so relaxing. I wish I had this one, I got the timeline and I love it as if it's my child.

HI again. I see the Neunaber WET on the right of the BigSky. Do you find situations to use two reverbs in series like that? Was this used here in this video? Thanks for your comments. /C
@AntoineMichaudGuitarLooping6 жыл бұрын
Both were not used in this video. The reason I keep both is just because I love the sound of the Neunabaer and I use it as my ''always on'' ambient reverb. The BigSky is more for the big effects (drones, choir sounds, infinite reverb, super long decays) that the Neunaber can't do!

Great sound Antoine, Thank yo for the video, very informative and inspiring. Have you tried the BigSky with a nylon guitar. How does it sound?

Like this pedal very much pricey, can I come close to the cloud and or shimmer with an older Zoom G2 pedal? Thanks
@AntoineMichaudGuitarLooping7 жыл бұрын
I don't think you can come close with a Zoom. This is going to be a lot different than the Strymon. But at least you can try!

Me too, my wallet 😭, and now I want a timeline too 😭
@nathantrinkle15664 жыл бұрын
@@jRock_54 Honestly I don't think the timeline is really all that useful in creating tone and such. Yes you can have a ton of different presets for delays and the timing of them, but I feel like the timeline is too much pedal for most people to use to the fullest. I am about to buy a jhs panther cub v2, which I think sounds amazing and isn't too much pedal for what I will be using it for.
@cliffymckernan68534 жыл бұрын
@@nathantrinkle1566 I agree what you're saying about the strymon Timeline. It's a bit of a overkill . I had one and ended up selling it. I never used half of all the delays.
@tomexistsonline7 жыл бұрын
I love the Cloud machine; it’s pretty much the only setting I use on the BigSky any more! Combined with a volume pedal, you’ve got swells for *days*. How do you stack your delays and reverbs with the Cloud machine?
@AntoineMichaudGuitarLooping7 жыл бұрын
Tom Jepson Stacking... maybe that's for a future video ;)
@musiceschete70376 жыл бұрын
Ive heard that using low delay mixes with a higher mix of verb and then quiet yet subtle delay to mix in well. I perfer to run my delays after the verb becaue my delay has a looper so one the loop will play in one verb setting and u can then play over the loop in another
@Patrick-8573 жыл бұрын
@@musiceschete7037 Awesome idea, I'm going to reconfigure my pedalboard because of your comment. It solves my problems a lot. Means I can use reverse reverb sometimes while adding delay on top to bring space back in because reverse reverb always sounds dry. I have a small Red Witch Violetta analog delay, a Strymon Dig, Timeline and Bigsky. I'm thinking I will go Violetta>Dig splitting to stereo>Bigsky>Timeline. The great thing is that the Dig provides most of the ambiance I need most of the time, and I haven't really been using the Timeline that much other than for looping, and I've been feeding my loops into the Dig and Bigsky. It's messy. I'm learning that you want to put your looper at the end of the chain.
