OVERVIEW
Hey there guitar friends!!! This week we're checking the Strymon Brigadier dBucket delay. The pedal is a recreation of classic analog pedals like the Electro Harmonix Memory Man and the Boss DM-2 just to name a few. I'm still figuring out how everything works so I hope I got everything right. Good times!!!

Excellent review. It appears to me that Strymon tries to balance excellent effects in an easy-to-use pedal. They could easily add about a dozen more knobs to give it more features, but then the musician will have to spend too much time learning/relearning what all the knobs do. It looks like they really try hard to make an easy-to-use pedal that sounds excellent. Some pedals have one knob, some have screens with tons of menus. This pedal has the pro tone quality that could be used in any recording studio, and is easy enough to take on the road. Thank you, Strymon.

Been using mine for 8-9 years, love it and nothing else has impressed me even closely - especially for shoegazey near oscillating washy sounds which are my favourite. Though I very quickly realized that I wasn't going to ever sell it so I ended up sanding off the awful green to the metal finish. Looks slick now.

I'm on the fence between the new Memory Man (the smaller pedal) and this one. I think I'm leaning towards the strymon but not sure.

I haven’t heard the DMM nano. The full size DMM sounds really good. Not sure if the design is different. Also, The nano has no tap tempo which is something I use. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the question! I haven't tried the DIG yet so I can't say. When I get my hands on a DIG I'll be sure to do a comparison.

I already have the Timeline. I like it. It's a cool pedal, but honestly it's way too complicated and too much work to be used as a go to pedal in a live situation. I wanted a more simplistic do what I need when I need it delay for live gigs. I watched your video and ordered a Brigadier and a Zelzah tonight. Thanks for demoing it without playing jazz. I think I'll keep the Timeline for mainly recording purposes. You should definitely get an affiliate link for Strymon. I order most of my Strymon stuff through Chicago Music Exchange or Pitbull Electronics.
