Its crazy how its been about 10 years and the Timeline is still one of the best to date.

@@sammydaboul6781 i didnt get the Timeline until right after posting that comment about 8 months ago, and im blown away by it. Idk if i could live without the ducking delay and the ice delay. For those 2 settings alone are well worth it for me, but i do need to explore it more. I havent even scratched the surface on what it can do. I completely understand why its so beloved.

It's good to hear someone demonstrating by actually playing music and not just making noises. That doesn't happen often enough. Nice work. Gives a good feel for what this pedal can do.

My two cents on this pedal: Best pedal I have ever purchased in my life. I've been playing for 20 years. Played a TON of pedals. Nothing in the Delay/Chorus/Other universe even comes close. It never alters the sound of your guitar on bypass. It has settings on it that you will be playing for days. I know there has got to be some of you out there looking for inspiration for guitar. I know I was. It was actually hard for me to play. Grabbed this...off and running again. :)

What a badass demo, Pete! You demonstrate what this pedal is capable of and then some. Of course, when we get it home it will sound nothing like this. Most of the sound is coming from your fingers!

Awesome brother, my favorite part was at 3:32 apx; the 11th, pattern delay. Also love the one after it the 2nd most, the one on ICE model, totally ''who needs keyboards'', its a biorderline guitar synth in some ways, (I dont own one YET so I dont know how many ways it can.) Yet the last one really nails the difference of htis pedal form most, with right channle filter, sounds more like a real Bass than a Boss Octaver Love all the Music too, totally suits 'heavy wet delay' sampling/demos etc I wouldn't change a thing tho. I think this is my favorite Music video ever (like demo/instructional genre) LOVE YOUR TASTE IN MUSIC AND PLAYING, YOU'RE VERY TALENTED in so many genres apparent here ...AND 'EDUCATED' SUBSCRIBED WITH NOTIFICATIONS Thanks brother

This pedal literally does everything. It has built in distortion along with it's vibrato and filtering effects. If you still think it's missing something, you can plug your own pedal through it's effects loop!
@41224jason12 жыл бұрын
@FastRedPonyCar i've owned both (ended up keeping the timeline), and to answer your question: no, not completely. i think the el cap sounds (slightly) better than the timeline's tape mode. no clue why, my best guess is probably all that processing power dedicated to one sound rather than 11. so if you only want a tape delay sound, get the el cap. otherwise, you can't go wrong with the timeline.

Dude, you practically record an album, with amazing and totally original songs, every time you demonstrate those pedals, don't you?!?

Very clean man, one of the best sounding and most versatile delay boxes money can buy (I think). Your choice music was awesome too (although I would also have liked to hear some of it say... played on Gretsch or even a nice acoustic). Well done.

Pete- appreciate you showing us your chops on this unit. You go beyond the "typical" settings & uses, and really bend the damn thing to your musical tastes. The one setting I cannot get to sound "musical" is reverse. WHAT are the settings you used (parameters, saved) for the first sound clip????

Yah! dood could plug into a toaster, or a thanksgiving turkey! It would make a great sound.. This guy is a testament to what a PRO truly is. Pete T. could sell rice to a rice farmer. Total pro. Great work even if I'm in 2018 ! Timeless Musician with great intuition.
