Lz is, and has always been my favorite member of Stryper. Killer guitar player and such a powerful voice with an awesome range. I’m gonna say something that might make some people upset, but the truth sometimes does that. As much as I like Michael Sweet as a singer and guitarist, he is a bit of a Prima Donna. Let me explain. I was a sub on Stryper’s Facebook page. They were getting ready to record what would become their God Damn Evil album. Michael posed the question to their subscribers “what would you like to see different on our new album”? I replied, “Oz is such a great singer. Maybe let him do a lead vocal on a song.” Michael’s reply to me was “No way. Not as long as I’m in the band. I am the singer after all”. Wow! I replied back saying “Wow Michael. I’m sorry if you took that as a knock on you. It was NOT. You are one of my favorite singers, but I just mentioned that as a fan, I would love to hear Oz’s take on a song doing lead vocals just for one song. He did a great job the time you left the band to pursue a solo career which I respected at the time. So maybe let him sing just one song.” Well, I was unceremoniously kicked off of the Stryper Facebook page after that. And I know Michael was overseeing the page and doing all the posts and replies. From the Diane, I still remain a huge fan of Stryper and especially Oz Fox. But that little incident made me a whole lot less of a fan of Michael Sweet.

I can totally see him saying that (and kicking you out of the FB group). I remember him talking smack about Oz's contribution to the Against The Law album (most of the music was written by Oz) and insinuating that album didn't do well because of that. Talent is one thing, humility is another and when you combine the two, Oz is twice the man that Michael is. BTW Oz is my favorite in the group as well, and he really showcases his abilities in this video (and others from the 3-piece tour).

@@maverick_trail si eso fuera cierto, tiene sentido porque es su menos favorito, yo se lo atribuia a otras cosas. Nunca pense en esta version. Lo que si es evidente es que en ATl Oz Fox desarrolla todo su potencial en la guitarra, es lo que mas me gusta de hecho, aunque Michael no se queda atras en la voz, es impresionante!
