1986 I was 17 yrs old. Told grandma they were a Christian band. She fought my parents to let me keep my denim jacket full of pins and patches. Nothing wrong she said at the time. Bless your soul.

Saw them perform this whole album in its entirety and all I can say is that STRYPER is one of the few bands that can actually play their songs as good if not better live like in the record!!! No joke after 30 plus years these guys still rock and Michael's vocals are stronger and better than ever! God bless stryper and everyone who has listened to their music whether you like them or not!

Sadly you are correct. Luckily there are those that are true Christians that walk it out rather than wear it like a title. It's not supposed to be a title. Its supposed to be a way of life. 'Christ-like' or 'Little Christs' is what the term means. Meaning those that walk like Christ walked. It was originally meant to be a derogatory term actually as the disciples in Antioch were the first to be called Christians (Acts 11:19-26)
