This cooler is a god sent for the NR200 case. I recently installed it and temperatures are are great while staying almost silent. I am loving it.

I've got the NH-D12L and the NH-C14S and both are great. But I use the C14S in my Sliger Cerberus because it's a top blower and I can use the 140mm fans.

For anyone looking for a good cooler for a Rackmount case. THIS cooler is a perfect match for 4U cases.

I’m surprised a regular NH-D12 doesn’t seem to exist.
@Todbrecher Жыл бұрын
that...*thing* is even 4U compatible (in many cases). although it's much more expensive than a Shadow Rock 3, I'm considering to use this one in my planned hotbox...just because aifter moving to a bigger place, when everything will move to a Rack, this one will be compatible for that as well.

Didn't Noctua just release a 4U U12S? That one might even be the better alterative
@MarcH0lland5 ай бұрын
@@STSYT looking at the product page at noctua it states its not compatible with a 4U case. the NH-D12L is. just got a rackmount with the 12L. very good and fits like a glove

Expected the dual fan version to equal or surpass the u12a given its dual towers.

There’s a lot more to a cooler than dual or single. Seems counterintuitive, but depending on the workload, things can change drastically

What it his maximum TDP?
@dap777754 Жыл бұрын
"Enormous heat sink" is correct -- this thing is both heavy and big. Why do motherboard makers not provide an OEM CPU fan like with previous LGA's? It's like selling a car without a radiator ' "hey have fun, install your own radiator!" Second gripe is Noctua does not tell you which way the fan blows, in the instructions. So you have to install the cooler, turn on the computer and see if you've got the fan pointed in the correct direction. There's no orientation directions at all. PITA!

I have never seen an MB manufacturer offer a cpu cooler. Instead, I have seen cpu (Intel, AMD) manufacturers offer a cooler with the cpu.

hello, thanks for sharing... I have a question. I own a i5-12400 (65w tdp), with the cooler can I use it without a fan?... I want a kind of silent build and I dont want to go for the NH-P1, find it too big!!!
@elteacher0223 Жыл бұрын
I did testing... with the fan off, the cpu never goes above 42c on normal task, like web browsing file zip and unzipping. so I set the fan curve for the fan only be activated at 60c.... rest of the time is off... I have 2 Phanteks T30 -1 intake and 1 exhaust at 750rpm, on Techware Fusion case wich is full ventilated with 4 mesh panels-. eveything is dead silent!!

Can you flip the noise normalized axis please? I’ve never seen anyone else put noise on the y axis.

The way it’s showed in the video, the graph doesn’t seem to make sense. Why would a cooler make more noise at lower temps?
@KellyWu042 жыл бұрын
@@IedaheDeliu it’s supposed to indicate you get more noise (higher fan speed) to achieve lower temps.
