The two of them had so much beauty and talent. It’s tragic and sad he died so young.

Yes there was a real collision there of music and art and talent in 1959-1962, it's amazing, they are all known around the world now. Thanks!

The pictures of Stuart are haunting but beautiful. I also loved the background music.

Yes it was a tragic event but I do really like his art, he was very good for a 20-21 year old, gifted I believe. Thanks Tricia! thanks for watching.

Thank you for posting this. What wonderful photos. Such a lovely couple and Stu was a hugely talented artist. Had he lived he would have been a major figure in British art.

Long live Stuart in our hearts and memories. For he was an early Beatle and help shape the group.

Think of the life that he missed... RIP Stu. Lovely photos, and his artwork was phenomenal. Wonder why the Beatles never used one of his paintings as an album cover? At least Klaus got one!

Stu and Syd were active as artists/painters in the same period of time, I wonder - had they known each other - if they would have been able to appreciate each other's art or if they could see a sort of common ground in art. I'm not an expert but I can see affinity in their early works...
@johnnygraham4004 Жыл бұрын
Yes I think both were beyond dabblers, pretty advanced and IMO Stu could have been a major painter since he was so far along at 21 Thanks Dona T. !

Being he was a Beatle, I wonder if his estate gets royalties like Pete Best.
@johnnygraham4004 Жыл бұрын
Hmm that's a good question, I don't think he recorded with them formally, in a studio, so anything out there on record or anywhere (online) is either live or rehearsal tapes. I'm not sure how much that would generate in royalties. Very good question Thanks Tricia for watching! I appreciate it.

Yes he was in some fights for sure, but I didn't want to open up that direction, John Lennon may have been in one of them. There are differing accounts. But Yes I think you are right Thanks DancingT!

@@johnnygraham4004 Didn't Stu Sutcliffe's sister or another relative actually blame John for him dying. I read somewhere that they got into a nasty row and John slammed his foot into his (Stu's) head.
