I've got a T120 arriving in September, so the timing of this series is spot on! These pico lights should solve my biggest aesthetic complaint with the Bonnie, that hideous rear light.

I've been following you for a little over 2 yrs since I decided to buy myself a Bonnevile T120(2022 Red/Silver) I appreciate your comments and instructional videos about doing your own maintenance. Changed my oil and filter, after forcing out the Phillips screws the local shop had stripped on the bash plate I had installed just before my 600 mile initial maintenance. I had a tap and dye set I'd gotten at your suggestion, fixed the threads and all is good. I really appreciate your guidance and advice. I'm lucky to live in a US state that isn't as antagonistic to motorcycles. (Arizona) I watch with alarm the BS you're having to put up with in the UK related to emissions and their short sided attitudes towards the issue. Your even handed comments and videos warning people and pointing out that they need to stand up to that kind of over reach is a wakeup call to something that will eventually (as in soon) reach these shores and people need to pay attention. Good on you!

I’ve been working on my own bobber over the past few weeks, try as I might it’s been a mind field browsing the web looking for different parts to us, I decided on the Motogadget M M-Blaze for the front (that was fun drilling out the bars!!) and I found although slightly larger the Kellermann 3 in 1 for the rear. I did however purchase the Motone rear indicator bracts (they are so well made) Along with that yesterday another box of goodies has arrived and this weekend I will be taking off the rear wheel to install the new rear fender!! I wish I had the guys to do this KZbin stuff too as I’ve found your videos really helpful and I know bits I’ve found along the way pulling my bobber apart would help others!?!?

l think those indicators look great, plus the three in one functionality is something l haven't seen before... Here in Spain its not Triumph stopping us fitting other than OEM parts...its the Governments ITV system..(MOT)...For instance, l thought a set of LED indicators would be a nice upgrade to my 2014 Bike... There are quite a few generic alternatives, however fitting anything without the Triumph logo will bring about instant ITV failure. Consequently, to avoid that aggravation I've had to purchase the genuine Triumph parts which cost a lot more. ..l recall your video a few months back about possible ''Government interference'' regarding the fitting of only OEM parts, plus the possibility of no modifications of any kind... That will be a sad day...Regards from España

Man I love these vids. Asmr at its best and you learn something in the process. Keep them coming. By the by is Motone ever going to come up with a full rear fender like the Rialto but for those of us who want to use the fender rack by Motone? Maybe a pre drilled fender or a fully assembled with the rack would be even better.

Stuart, I've fitted a pair of led indicators from motone and used their plug and play, indicators work fine but hazards don't work anymore!
@stephenquindry459911 ай бұрын
I just put another brand of 4 in one LED's on the back of my bike and the hazards didn't work until I also replaced the front turn signals with LED's. Once I did, my hazards worked fine.

I'm considering auxiliary lights for the Triumph Bobber. One headlight is okay but could be brighter. The light pattern is a bit strange due to the Triumph T-shape beam. I prefer something small and bright clipped to the forks. I heard some Triumphs have an aux power plug under the tank.

It drives me insane how car and bike manufacturers program the ecu and other electronic modules in unscrupulous attempts to foil after market repairers and customisers. Can't wait until we are all driving and riding easy to modify unsophisticated electric machines...oh hang on. Thanks Stu.

@@ruahinesrider I love em mate they look great. Whiting tonight for tea, I'm cooking. Funny story RR, my cousin went fishing last night in his boat, dark as, and as soon as he cast out got a big hit. Thought it was big fish went all round the boat and when he finally landed it it was a bloody big flying fox (fruit bat). Must have taken bait before it hit the water. Bloody hard to fillet haha. Everything true except filleting bit. Amazing.

Nice. Unfortunately I learned a long time ago what customization will do here. The Highway Patrol "didn't " see the lights ( while off) and stopped me, and stopped me, and stopped me.....I stick with stock clunkers now to avoid the inconvenience.

Hi Stuart, I'm not sure how to explain my question, but here we go. Do you think you can fit these pico's like the front set? Without changing the rear fender and attach these using the triumph turn signal brackets and just replace the rear lights. Thanks.

im not sure. i suppose some farbrication would be required

@stuartfillingham thank you for replying so soon. Sorry, I mean keep the rear oem cluster , remove the big break light, and then swap out the indicators for the peco's using the brackets.

It annoys me when after market manufacturers produce an expensive item and put shoddy bullet connections on ! A proper waterproof plug would be far better. A small slit in the mounting bracket would save the need of removing the rubber boot .
@stuartfillingham Жыл бұрын
Its holding about 10 grams. dont see any weakness there myself.
@stuartfillingham Жыл бұрын
Pretty high quality weatherproof connectors in my opinion. If they used plugs they would have to make several versions to suit different manufacturers to ensure compatibility. That would substantially bump up the cost.

I’ve got an issue with mine. I can change to type 4 but as soon as a start the bike it changes to type three and the flash rate increases. Any ideas on a fix?
@timsatchell6713 Жыл бұрын
Although these combined indicator/tail lights are beautifully made and look very neat, removing the centre light in favour of these type of lights may make you a target for a Tesla at night. Since Tesla deleted the radar system that overrides the camera system, the camera computer can read a motorcycle at night with this type of custom lights, as a car substantially further away. At least 4 motorcyclist have been killed in the US by Teslas running into the back of them whale on "auto drive" and the conclusion of investigators point very strongly at the m/c custom lighting. Perhaps not a good idea. Just a thought. In your closing words, stay safe.
@stuartfillingham Жыл бұрын
Time Tesla got its act together then. Lights are for visibility to humans not cameras with crackpot self drive systems.

Yes I suppose that is the future, (autonomous driving) but maybe not for another few years hopefully. Mind you if that the case you can guarantee Honda will bring out the first self driving gold wing, self balancing etc and you’ll be able to sit on it backwards eating fish and chips at the same time…🤣😂🤣😂
