As promised, this is the FULL LENGTH version of my Ultimate Tonal Language Workshop / Webinar that I'm for the first time releasing here on KZbin to the public. Learners of Thai, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other Chinese Languages), Vietnamese are directly targeted in the workshop, though the same principles can be used for Burmese and any other tonal language in the region. I also cover Japanese Pitch accent.
If you really like it, you'll enjoy Mindkraft: www.jcademy.com/
I've edited out any 'fluffy' bits so you can get the 'meat' of each section. I have a bit of an extended 'Coming Soon' section in the beginning so you can get an idea of the flow of what's to come. I advise you watch this in several sittings - save it and go back and forth over it over days and even weeks and months.
Building on my Mindkraft series and Cracking Thai / Language fundamentals, this comprehensive one-hour workshop covers everything you need to excel in speaking and understanding tonal languages. Whether you’re a new learner or seasoned language enthusiast, this masterclass breaks down each concept with clear exercises and drills, self-correction techniques, and essential training for both your ear and mouth to lock into sounds beyond your mother tongue. This invaluable workshop is designed to make tonal languages approachable and exciting, ensuring you gain confidence and proficiency.

By the end of it you will not only be able to hear the tones in ANY tonal language, but have new skills in being able to faithfully reproduce them and set up an internal self-correction system that kicks in subconsciously when you get something wrong:
