Great video when attacking you allway open for a counter right so how many punches should I throw in a combo should I throw long combo or short

He blocks it with hus right arm and catches it with his left. So no step to the outside while catching is necessary. Typical muay thai counterattack against roundkick. If you dont block the kick, you have to step outside while catching, to steal the kick's power. If you don't do that, you will surely get hurt ^^
