Mr. Stubb has the experience in various national posts to protect his country and properly, in concert with Finland's Prime Minister, deploy its influence and leadership on the world stage. I hope 🇫🇮 and its people remain free of the Russian aggression with which they are all too historically familiar.

What, if you're talking about Finland most of the candidates can speak three languages well, swedish, Finnish and English, he can speak a few more, for which he is often complimented for. Like at least German, maybe french too if I recall correctly

I'll miss Alex's videos from the Transnational school if he gets elected, but I am a fan and I believe he would bring a lot of knowledge and gravitas to the Finnish presidency.

I have listened to Prof. Stub via KZbin and the Transnational Univ. because I live in the U.S. and am interested in learning about current events in Europe. He is obviously qualified (has already checked off the box as Prime Minister). He has an extensive resume and is an academic (in the good way). I would definitely vote for Prof. Stubb if I was a citizen of Finland… he will keep the boat steady and afloat!

I am sorry to report you have been totally fed mistruths. First of all, Stubb is a self-appointed Professor of nothing more than a small institute with hardly any academic credibility. Stubb has not published academic works, nor has he been cited. His produced literature is in the form of pamphlets, brochures and what can be safely regarded as marketing materials. To say that he was Prime Minister of Finland is also an exaggeration of the truth. Stubb was just a caretaker prime minister for 6 months because the actual Prime Minister, Jyrki Katainen, jumped off the Ship of State 6 months before the General Election. Katainen's government, with Stubb as foreign minister, holds the amazing record for being the worst government in Finnish history. As caretaker PM, with just 6 months before the GE, he could do absolutely nothing except burn a few months in power. The election came and Stubb's party was emphatically and metaphorically shown the door and kicked up the backside on the way out. Of course, being the loyal "WEF Globalist Socialists" that they are, Katainen was awarded the job as EU Commissioner (out of sight, out of mind), where he had many cosy meetings with George Soros (images of them both together prove it), and Stubb was awarded a board position at the corrupt EIB. They really were "persona non Grata" in Finland after their catastrophic government. Katainen's catastrophic government made way for another catastrophic government in the form of a hapless fool called Sipilä, who also jumped of the state ship early, and then followed by another catastrophic government with WEF Young Global Egotistic Leader Sanna Marin, who also jumped state ship before the election and was rewarded (or cursed) with getting a job with Tony "Liar Liar" Blair's tax avoiding foundation. Sadly, the majority of people in Finland have zero knowledge about what is really happening in the real big world due to state media not telling them anything or only the bare essentials and because the language barrier of credible alternative media. Mainstream media in Finland is diabolical at telling the people anything in detail, and tends to regurgitate the echo chamber of Global Progressive Socialism leaning mainstream media. Ask the average Finn how many excess deaths, above the average, Finland last year, they will have no idea whatsoever because media doesn't tell them, their government doesn't tell them, their health authority doesn't tell them, and their State Statistics office doesn't tell them (Tilastokeskus). Instead, they need to go online and check the OECD or the EU statistics office. Hardly anyone bothers, not even sitting members of parliament because I have asked them directly, and showed them the links. They told me "You shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet". I answered: "They got the data from the Finnish Government,.are you saying we shouldn't trust Finnish government statistics?". Well, in the final presidential race, Finns can choose between a WEF Global Progressive Socialist, it a Global Progressive Socialist because of the above.

Despite being Finnish I have not looked very deeply into Stubb's past so I couldn't comment on his academic record, but I can agree that just based on vibes he does seem a little self-conceited politician rather than a true humble academic, which is fine, doesn't mean any conspiracies are true. Tim Whale - i guess he is a Finnish citizen - has come here to speak his - I suppose - usual negative talking against president Stubb. It's true Stubb didn't succeed in domestic politics but in foreign politics he was successful. Actually he is one of the most talented according foreign policy in Finland. Domestic politics isn't president's area in Finland. Of course nobody likes everyone, so Whale has all the rights with his opinion, but most voters in Finland didn't agree. Luckily.

But regardless the candidates that are at the top seem to be good, I'm happy with Stubb and would've been with Haavisto or Rehn either and of course Niinistö was awesome
