Heck No! Screw the duechebags! Supporting something like this is important. My son is a GREAT cop. And when folks support America its giving encouragement and support to him!

Nope. The biggest part of the trip is the ride. That's the best part. I have ridden in the rain a lot of times. but its usually on the way home. If I didn't have to be at work the next day, I would have extended my trip.

You have nothing to prove to me. I know you can ride. Have a blast!
@rickyhawkins74073 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you. You have no one to please but yourself. Go enjoy yourself and don’t worry what anyone else says. Been riding over 35 years myself, and to the point now, if it’s raining when I open the garage door, the door goes back down. I’ll wait the rain out or if that’s not possible, I have a truck. Be safe and have fun.

Hell I wouldn't ride that far in the rain. Plus I'm nearly 58 years young with back issues on a Slim. I'm pussin out!

I always pay attention to my "gut" feeling. Just do what feels right. Much safer for a rider without a lot of road time. I've ridden many miles in the rain, doesn't bother me much anymore. Does take some of the relaxation out of the ride.
@87ricer3 жыл бұрын
Mike nobody should think of you as a push .... I don't got much experience in the rain myself and 🎶 rain makes corn corn makes whiskey ...... me in the situation I would load up the dirt bikes in the truck bed with rain gear to ride in ..... in my case I would be loading up my moped 50cc to rip around on

Get a trailer and good rain gear…. We have ridden in three remnants of hurricanes over last few years…. On second thought….. drive😂🤣… with the miles we put on bikes, nobody’s opinions really matter. We had a blast in Rogers last weekend, traveled to Paris TX before riding back to Ozark’s.

1st time to SD was on a 883 Sportster I got 2 days out of the US Army Infantry. I was young and buck hard and actually got blown over heading north to North Dakota... it was wild. Now, in my 50s and 7 HDs later I ride a giant touring bike (2017 Limited I run as a SG- without the tour pak) 95% of the time. I started carrying rain gear (cheap frogg toggs] way back when I was still strapping a backpack to a sissy bar... now I got room for anything I'd want to bring and camping gear.... but I still don't purposefully want to head into rain. I do...it's part of it on a bike trip... but like you, I got more than 30 years of riding under my belt. If I had a special lady riding her own and she was inexperienced... you bet I'd be cautious. And heck, that's a sweet trailer. I sure don't have that, lol! Tell Adam I said hi if ya think of it. I haven't seen him since I rode over to help out in the early days Kriver. Good man. Does a lot for us Vets. 👊
