The whole game of putting up photos and taking them down, as if they (harley) didn't know, is just dumb. what are we 10yrs old?
@dijitek12 сағат бұрын
Not really a game. Most companies pre load websites with new products. They just hide it until a set date/time. When people bombard a website the coding can get messed up and load stuff it shouldn’t. Happens quite often to many companies.

You do spot the details, WOW! good job my friend. I really want a new Low Rider ST, but two things will have to change on current models, 1- get rid of the clam shell style bags all together and use a smaller version of the touring model style bags. 2- they need to offer it in chrome! Don’t understand why they don’t offer it in chrome, I guess I’ll just keep my 2019 low rider standard, I get so many compliments on the bike. I just cant get into the all blacked out.

Advanblack has really great "mini" touring bags for softails. You can get them color matched too. And I agree, I love chrome.

Still got my Switchback. That mismatched bag set on its successors has ben a deal killer for me. Also, WTF is with not having a proper instrument pod on the Lowrider ST?
@RidingintheOzarks11 сағат бұрын
I think they need to transition to a more modern gauge like the Nightster Special if they are going to bring more technology like rider aides. Some folks like the low profile gauge for a more classic look. I would prefer a more modern gauge.

Great video, you have a sharp eye. All this new stuff gets everyone excited until they see the price tag and loan interest rates to buy one. Then the Harley-Davidson bashing videos come out because everyone wants it for free or a lower price. Paint options, controls and possibly new engines are going to be huge price driven increases in the Softail lineup. I predict not to many US customers are going to want a Thailand built Harley Davidson. The dealerships might as well park them next to the Livewires.
@RidingintheOzarks13 сағат бұрын
Thanks for watching! I do think people expect to much and then if they get it they feel the price should not go up… the milk I buy today taste and looks sane as 3 yrs ago but it doesn’t cost the same…

So new controls? Maybe an IMU so we get rider modes on our ‘25 Softails? I wouldn’t get too excited on a 117 H.O. Lowrider with a cam bump & factory two into one. Remember, the motor company has to deal with EPA & CARB requirements. Any cam will be limp at best. The bigger question is.. are they gonna have water cool heads, I.E. Gen II M8 engines in the 2025 Lowrider S & ST models? Water cool heads with a small cam bump/ 2 into 1 exhaust with catalyst (😐 I know) could make the power go up another 10 or 12ve. Not bad. I was really surprised to find the Fat Boy as an initial carryover on their website (early January ‘25). Harley is usually big into their 35th anniversaries. One big one was in 2006 when they did an anniversary Super Glide to commemorate the 1971 FX Super Glide Boattail. Maybe they’ll do a midyear like you mentioned..

I’m one of those folks who is tiring of the wording “MOVING UP TO” when saying someone wants to sell their Sporty or Softail and get a Bagger. This is a lateral move. You’re not moving up per se… maybe to a more expensive model? I’ll give you that. But a lot of guys just want the bike that can do longer distances easier. Not necessarily a move up. Good content Mike.
@RidingintheOzarks7 сағат бұрын
True for some it isn’t but for some it is, it depends on the situation. I got an email from a guying today who is looking to move to a bagger. When I say “up” I mean to a bigger heavier bike, not better. Thanks for watching and support the channel!

If Harley Davidson wants to do something different, they should go full liquid cooling, full counterbalancing, get rid of the three hole oil fill and for goodness sake get rid of the chain primary drive. If HD does that, I will buy one, until then the Honda Goldwing is my brand. HD should put the revolution max engine in the Heritage Classic.
@KipKnoll-s3u12 сағат бұрын

Quit trying to make Harley into Honda if you want a Honda by a Honda. Nothing wrong with owning a Honda. They are great machines.
@MrDoyle076 сағат бұрын
I don’t mean this to be ugly or to disrespect you but, in the land of honesty, which is where I see you living, that is just dumb. I have had 10 Harleys and I have beat the hell out of every single one of them. High mileages, to long between lubin’s, cold starts, stupid revving bullshit, outrageous performance upgrades and on and on and on and they are all like a pit bull with a rag in their teeth. They just keep on plunging along. Had the Hondas and the Yamahas and some others and while they were all fun, not one of them would tolerate the abuses I put these Harleys through. They were all broke as much as they weren’t. The Hondas were the better of the metrics but dollar for dollar the Yamahas were at least nipping on the Honda heels. In the final analysis, with satisfaction of ownership, road pounding thunder, general power/torque, the F-16 grappling hook take-offs, reliability and just plain ride mastery I will take even the old 2002 that still sits staring at me in the garage over any metric I ever had.
