Right now I’m answering you from that very place but, LOL, and we hit the dirt again. Got ourselves off again. They’ll be a video on that coming soon. Have you ever been to the lighthouse Grill at stop Pass? That’s where we are now.

Question? Is the sand soft enough not to hurt the drive system, or was it luck? I have seen a few videos of boats getting stuck on sandbars, and usually no damage. Used to being on lakes where I live. We don't really have that problem.

It does not take much to bend a prop with that much weight and momentum, even at super slow idle or even drifting. This grounding did bend a prop. :(

Agreed but the captain was an ass. He waked us and knocked all kinds of gear off our tables. Not a courteous thing to do at all.

This is why you spend the $200 on a SeaTow membership.. you can tell these people are rookies…

Is it typical to anchor in that spot, looks like you're in the channel thoroughfare?
@HoustonBrownPhotography Жыл бұрын
We are pretty much out of the main channel where the actual traffic goes by but there is really not much of that most of the time.

You should trade those pods for tank tracks for all the skinny water you like running in.
@HoustonBrownPhotography2 жыл бұрын
No pods on this boat but I hear you about the tracks. The owner likes to ride the edge and takes the boat into places that others may not venture. Most of the time he gets away with it but sometimes we don't. All part of it I suppose.

Doesn’t that overpriced boat have a depth gauge alarm? My 16 foot John boat has a depth gauge alarm ‼️

generally don't here it in the overpriced beds down in the cabin when you are asleep. 😄
