Well I'm glad you got the wandering issue resolved. I never would've thought a steering box only a few months old would be bad. But I guess that's the way it is these days. I've had several Sheppard boxes in some of my trucks over the years with no problems. Hey--- what year is that glider ? Did you know they had a recall on over 47,000 Pete and KW boxes in 2022 and 2023 ? I'm guessing maybe you knew about it and it doesn't apply to your truck ? I know your drivetrain is from the 90's but don't remember what year the glider is.

@ was over the road from 79 to about 83. Bought my first rebuilt truck cab over international trans tar. What a rough ride going from coast to coast reefer loads. Meat out of the Omaha area, produce back. After that was lid for then long nose Pete with a 4 1/4 cat 13 speed with brake retarder. Sure miss it but I could put up with the steering wheel holders.. LOL watch your channel every night when you post one.

Need to keep a small propane torch might sound stupid.but when u need to melt ice quickly it works i carried one for years . But I used a 25 pd tank with hose and torch handle .if

That would 100% work. Melt all the ice real fast and get going.

when did you become a lumper? im surprised the y dont make you put it on the shelves in the store, unless they are paying you to unload it iw ouldnt do it. i before i retired i wouldnt do touch freight. why i went to heavy equipt

I really didn’t mind unloading. Wish I could unload at every receiver. I’m a lot faster than they are. If I was able to unload everywhere, I wouldn’t have to wait for them to unload.
