I tried to keep it low as possible, 2 Autoloaders should be easy enough to farm for or store flip for, and 5 CWIS’s are kinda needed, you don’t need the Twin-linked 30mm, it’s just there for a bit extra firepower but even in the short you only see em fire a couple times, swap em out for basic 30mm or more CWIS!

Yeap, just need to grind xD now I know why my outpost not dealing high damage, it's because I didn't pump the core value up! After seeing you put all those generators, I tried looking up why then only know that it boosted the damage further, silly me 😂

Good luck mate! And yeah, the Generators can be cut down to whatever you can do, but up to 3k Core is the max bonus for the Outpost so it really really helps get the most out of such a small build

I saw on your mega base that you use a building technique where you somehow can layer multiple objects into one? Can you explain with a bit more details? Also amazing designs!

Sure mate! You place something first, then select and move it to where you want, even if its red, then while your still holding it you press delete, then you press undo delete, and it should place it in the spot you were holding it. Do keep in mind, that I am fair sure this messes with the game stability so try not to over do it to much.

Just recently got the game, and I've been loving it so far, so I have to ask. Does the clipping of structures still work in the game, and if yes, could you please do a tutorial on how to do it as well as building techniques?

Yes, I am currently building on the test server where it’s been patched, trying to do a mega build without the glitch (it’s been patched) it’s harder to make it look nice but it’s not a crippling issue I guess, thanks for taking the time to comment mate, be legendary!

I just saw your mech bay from discord which brought me here, this is awesome man! I haven't tried recreating this yet but this is a good layout for this level. If you can post the code or a link to the code on your vid description it would be highly appreciated! Aesthetic is really good, love this kind of bases which is not just a square crammed with as many weapons as possible. I like surviving in style so this is a good base for me. I'll also try to modify this as I also have 2 cataphract hangar and I'm a big fan of mechs so I'll probably cram as much mech bay as possible

@@JesturrTV Sounds good! Will be eagerly waiting for that in discord. This did inspire me to do better design, tho I'm still very occupied with farming materials so my base is just a box tower crammed with guns and some mech hangars. Dunno if lucky but I survived the Seraph main story with just some MGs, 30mms and the 2 knight cataphracts which contributed the most on my defense. I just got a bunch of CIWS the other day because of joining a city coop so I think a few more hours and I can finally make a proper outpost.

can I ask what is the purpose of putting the turrets and stuff on tilted ramps? like does it increase the range or something? and why is autoloader there too? does it help with connecting it to turrets?

So it gives the gun better depression, so it can hit targets lower, and it also gives them a bit more room to shoot over the barriers. With the Autoloader it was the only way to get it to connect to the CWIS's on the end. Also, cheers for watching the video!

Enjoy it, but yeah, I have been dabling with an idea of a minimalistic Snow 1 base, cause that seems to be a speed bump a lot of people get stuck on for a while, but mate, you can only go up from here, soon you'll be working on your mega base! :D

@@Korinthyn87 Even in end game, you will still have to go after the tanks manually, remember to use your deciphers to place guns near the cores or your base, whatever your comfortable with, work on your Core outputs as well, for Snow you want at least 1k to make it mcuh easier, 2k for City, but seriously mate, take your time and enjoy it to the fullest! My base is nearly 4 million and I am still farming for more hellfire. your base will eventually turn into a borg cube. Which the game devs would give us different shaped foundations to build on. As a near square, the eventuality of utilizing every available space equates to a perfect square. 3 layers of 5 hellfire each facing, cannon and direct fire twin 105s. Fill spaces with smaller guns and Cwiz.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, this build was meant to show people who were/are stuck on Snow 3/4, it seems to be the biggest speedbump and gear check in the story. As for the rest of it, the Hellfire Borg cube is gross, like yeah, it gets you into the 100's, but the rule for all my builds is no matter what it has to be aesthetic

The code is too big for KZbin comments or pastebin, these videos are more to show people how to build and things you can do, but after the update I will have codes for updated builds, since they are patching the placement glitches all the current bases as is won’t work

Mostly just farming the lower levels honestly, Control Modules are common-ish on Snow 1 and get more common as you go higher (And by common I mean you should get 1 per a full run most of the time), there are some tricks and stuff you can do to increase your chances of getting what you want, aiming for gold runs and then using the gold to purchase the stuff straight from the store is also a great method

@@anonymoushunter9808 well no, but this is intended for people who are stuck on Snow 3, that first Kronos mission most people seem to struggle with, but you do get the CWIS after you do the first Snow mission

@@anonymoushunter9808 honestly, there isn’t much you can do, I think for my first Snow success I bought in 1 or 2 portable CWIS turrets from Dawn mode, if you want to cheese it I highly recommend this, and really go low on the loot for your first run, just do the basic mission, get the archive information and then extract, so that so you can get to the first CWIS unlock, once you have a CWIS it’s much easier

Your welcome mate, sorry for the not well laid out replies, was a long day at work yesterday, so I was thinking about this and decided to retry it, so the easiest way I passed Snow 1 was going and doing the Return to Dawn mod, the first mission, and extracting at the end with a couple of the portable CWIS systems, 2 of these basically let me AFK Snow 1, if you want a more "pure" run, try this; I managed to handle 200 seconds with no stress using 3 ammo makers, 3x 30mm (Set to Medium - High, Large - Mid, and Small - Low) and 4x MGs on the front, and 2x on each side (Set to Small - High). Also, using the 2 CWIS systems (The tower and the wall) that you start the mission with, you can set them to (Large/Apostle) as well, and they wont use all their ammo that fast (I recommend keeping just missile thou and turning the range to max). Also also, the Arty around the area can be set to Target - All except Small, and just turn them on 1 at a time, max range, also also also, the tower to your left, it has a consol you can access at the top, which lets you use a cannon to shot the enemies on the Left pathway. But honestly, the best way is like i said before, you dont have to pick up all the loot, just try get the mission objectives and then get out, do that until the CWIS mission. It's what I did for a while, or till you get the Drone, which you get after the first Snow mission, it will let you get out important stuff so even if you die you don't loose it, best of luck with your runs though, and thank you for checking out the channel and chatting!
