Back in the day when i would get stuck, nobody could get me out so i had to call a wrecker, $250.00 each time. So you helping people out for free is awesome

When pulling backwards it helps to turn away or opposite the direction your pulling (turn driver to have front go towards passenger) the tires will assist you back on the road, path or trail.... not always full proof but works really well. Great recovery in bad conditions...
@byronwhitney6652 жыл бұрын
Really great recovery. Thanks for taking the time to talk your way thru the many steps to full recovery. When people are out having fun and working their vehicles hard, things are bound to happen. You did a really nice job with the small amount of space you had to work with. The second vehicle for your anchor was critical. I hope your gal got you back home. Now you got to give her some much needed lovin!!

Wes that was a challenging recovery but you proved why you and team are the best. I think the fact you go out of your way to help people and make sure they have recovery ropes is a great thing in my opinion. Keep up the great work you always get the job done no matter what. Be safe I hope the issue with your jeep isn't anything serious

I think it’s great that you go so far to help people. I am sure it takes a toll on your Jeep. I like watching the different set up’s you uses and I learn to use better pulls with the information.

I have to say, you are the first recovery team that actually uses snatch blocks the correct way on off road jobs. Instead of using a yank'em rope for every recovery. I've been towing and doing recoveries all my life and I'm 60 now. My hats off to you in that respect. Keep learning! no one knows it all.

Another great video. Dont feel bad about wearing out you rig helping people, just dont let your rig catch you lying to it. i'm putting another engine in mine now, because i destroyed the org. engine recovering a dodge ext cab on 36's stuck in skidder ruts and i did get it out. It was a good thing i trailered it to the river bottoms that it was located at. the used engine i replaced it with wasnt much better so now im doing it again. Keep'em rolltng.

Here are the steps to deactivate the chime (picked this up from another forum, should be in the owner's manual, too): 1. turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and buckle your seat belt while sitting in the drivers seat. 2. turn the ignition key to the ACCESSORY/RUN position (engine does not need to be running), and wait for the seat belt warning light to turn off. 3. unbuckle and then re-buckle your seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds, ending with theseat belt buckled. then start the jeep. (i don't know if starting is necessary, but i did it) 4. turn the ignition key to the OFF position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming. next time you start the jeep, you'll hear the initial fasten seat belt chimes, but the continuous chiming reminder will be turned off. the light in the dash will remain on, though.

Great video, It amazes me the number of people who say don’t buy the rhino USA products.but I gave them a try with a 30 foot tow strap and soft shackles and I must say these products are very high quality. I hope to get one of the kinetic ropes soon. Awesome to see the new tire deflators .again thanks for all of the great content and the great products you share with us.

Great job on the recovery. When are the people that go out wheeling without front and rear tow points (multiple preferably) going to figure it out? I'm not hating.... but I've got a fairly stock 2003 Taco and that was the first thing I made sure I had in place. It has helped me ten-fold! Helping others and sometimes myself. It's better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it!

I don't need tire deflators - already got a set. I talk to my rig, too, Wes. I've spent 1k on him in the last 45 days between oil cooler filter housing, valve cover gasket, PCV valve, and something else I can't remember - and now I have to chase down a disappearing coolant issue and I STILL have an EVAP leak after replacing the gas cap, so ... ugh. Still wouldn't trade him for anything (well, maybe if someone gave me a 392 ... in black, of course).

Noise always develops when you remove the “lucky” shifter😂knob. Changing the tennis ball looks shiny and new but it hasn’t stored up the luck yet! Great seeing a sensible head and clean recovery in a world of drama and skinny-pedal pulls👍Thanx for setting the example
