Stuck Valve on Chrysler Crown 6 Flathead 1956

Well sort of, got it loosened up enough to go up and down...but the valve was sloppy so it also needed a valve guide and new valves...

I don't remember exactly what I used....anything from oil and something that would dissolve or loosen gunk.....If you tap on the top of the valve to just get it to travel down a 16th of an inch and then turn the engine over, it'll push it back up......repeat, repeat, repeat....and it should move more and more till it's loose....then you can pull the valve out once there released by removing the keeper. You of course need to remove the two oval plates on the engine side, and maybe the intake/exhaust manifold........that's where the valve adjustments are.......don't loose these keepers (two pieces).
