Thank you for pointing out the commitment part. That is my biggest problem. I love a small wardrobe but being a perfectionist makes me always buy replacements because I think they will be better. And as you say there will always be something better and if you don’t realize this you will indeed spend your life buying other things. I never looked at it that way because I always think : this is it, this is the best option, once I have this in my wardrobe my “problem(s)” will be solved. But as you say, it never ever stops ! So I’m going to keep this in mind and try to be honest to myself when this “issue” comes up next time.

With downsizing and retirement I realised today that this is also a problem for men . My own husband was saying today that he has many clothes from his previous way of life , like formal suits , that he will wear very little in the future .

Love the idea of wearing clothes just for fun and to understand what we love most. I’ll definitely try this.

Late to watching this one but really enjoyed it. The declutter and commit really helped me realize that my style has always leaned towards a specific silhouette and that when I dabble in current fashion trends they typically don't last more than 2 years in my closet. My sustainable mind is struggling with this fact because some of these items I'm not wearing are great but I'm just not comfortable in them. Your concept of commit really helped me question why I'm trying things outside my ideal silhouette and your realize that its time to embrace what I already know. While this silhouette isn't what is necessarily "in style", I love how I feel and look in it and have worn it in some iteration every decade of my life so I think its time to commit to it. Thank you for your advice.

I have followed advice from you and other youtubers: I know what I like to wear and what suits me, I know my color palette. So to add some fun and some interest, I follow the same youtubers on Instagram and also some others that represent my style the most and I try to recreate some of their looks or the same vibe with what I have. I have also introduced another color from my color palette to mix and match with what I already have. I shop mostly 2nd hand so it is still sustainable. I want to have a curated wardrobe but I still want to have fun with fashion.....

, What about if you don't need to go to the office any longer, social life has shrunk, but you still are tempted by the new classic styles that comes out..

Dear Signe, glad you are well and happy! Question..maybe if a person has clothes they do not wear they need to figure out why not? As in have they checked out of some activity that they need to check back into? Maybe they did not even realize that they have not gone to .......(whatever) and they should. Or even host a socially distanced dinner party...etc. thx for your feedback. J,👠👠💜🌏Canada

Hi Signe! I just discovered you (I was looking for hygge info) and after watching a few of your videos, subscribed to your channel. I follow a vegan diet and am interested in everything hygge but also in sustainable living. In one of your videos you were making oat buns, they looked sooooo good! Maybe you could also do some recipe videos?! Your fur babies are super cute, what is your cat's name (I know the dog is called Oskar)? Sending hugs from Edmonton, Canada : )

How do you fold your jumpers?
@UseLess_dk4 жыл бұрын
I fold them “normally” (if you can say that? 🤓) and then give them and extra fold on the middle so that they fit into my drawer 🤗❤️ xx

Thanks Signe - I know your baby is coming soon!! Congrats. I wanted to let you know that this is the first time I have heard the idea of "committing" to what I already own. I know this concept seems really basic, but for some reason I had not really realized the necessity of it and am always in search of the perfect cream sweater, comfortable/fashionable boots etc. I am really going to use this concept to help me stop some of my consumerism. Thanks you so, so much for highlighting it in this video
