Could you please do a video on the IDR account adjustment? This just hit my student aid account and says I have 246 out of 300 qualifying months and after 48 more payments my loans will be over. How likely is this to happen? Can this be repealed? Will I have to make payments under old IBR forever?

My itt loans didn't get deleted and still showing up on my credit report . Collections has garnished enough to pay it full but it apparently just went to fees and interest.

Can I pay off the balance remaining on my student loans while on PSLF??? Or should i get them out of pslf and then pay the balance off?? Does this matter either way???

When loan forgiveness happens after 25 years is the forgiveness amount (the amount you need to claim on your taxes in that respective year) the principle or the principle with all the interest the loan has accumulated over the years???

Do you think if I reapplied for the IBR now (I'm on the SAVE forbearance) I would have to recertify again this summer? I'm already so worried about how much my payment will go up and I'm thinking of trying to get one more year in with the salary from last year but if that will backfire it seems smarter just to wait out the forbearance

Is recertifying for PSLF the same as recertification for the loan. This whole thing is confusing.

Not the same. You have to decertify your income for the loan to establish your payment amounts, and decertify your PSLF to confirm your employment with a qualifying employer like a non profit or government job.

I got a letter from my servicer to recertify by 02/06. My date on FSA is 03/17. I decided to recertify now and am waiting for processing.

I tried to decertify early and it would not let me. I signed up for them to be able to just pull my taxes. That easier than getting it all together. Then I got a letter that I don’t have to recertify until 2/26
