Her voice is really heavy and resonant AF, that is why it really is very powerful for a LIGHT LYRIC soprano like her. She uses a chest-dominant mix which is really hard to pull off, it needs a lot of support and it is definitely not easy for everyone to do, she just makes it looks easy. She is really loud AF but you can see, she is still relaxed and effortless. All that sound coming from her.

What is amazing is that she is sitting down belting all of this out as a World Class Power House singer. It is perfection. Incredible performance. This is a love song, very emotional, some pain and some hope. What she does is difficult. She pours her love into the song. Listen to her version of Rise Up.

1000% Agreed. It's all about the TONE and Morissette's tone (low to high) is angelic. There are a lot of good singers, but their high notes/belts sometimes make my eye twitch and ear drums vibrate...lol

Great reaction! Really like how you explain what she is doing. You should definately react to Rise Up on the Wish Bus and Never Enough on Wish Bus. Both are live as was the one you just did.
