I have a little sister with down syndrome and when she was in high school she always wanted to be a cheerleader. She would watch them practice all the time. She never was a cheerleader but when she graduated the cheerleading squad gifted her with her own cheerleader jacket with her name on it during the graduation ceremony! I've got your back May and I'm glad that you have some good friends by your side. I know what it's like to be judged for liking things made for children. I have a cousin that has down syndrome too. May shouldn't give up on liking unicorns; no matter what she decides, she will still love unicorns, not just caring about what others think. My cousin with down syndrome couldn't understand anybody or comprehend that she has a condition. My cousin's name is Eileen. She never got shamed but she got excluded one time at school. She had no one to talk to. But she told everything to me and shared her own features with me. The best saying is to never shame someone that has down syndrome. You will never know what they are going through! Also, God loves you, May and your mom. ❤

This made me cry. I had a neighbor with down syndrome and no one played with her. I felt so bad for her and we became best friends. I always try and include people especially if I see they are having a hard time. Thank you Dhar Mann for spreading awareness about this.

Same. There used to be this program at my school for helping kids with disabilities and I always took part in it, it made me happy to see them having fun with me and a couple of my classmates. When I saw these girls at the beginning being so rude I started crying it hurts to know how much these kids take it to heart. I am very glad to see people creating awareness for these problems.
