I'm just now starting the hiring process for the up comming year. I was called a racist by a young lady who then asked what her chances were, I laughed. Welcome to the real world.

BUT HERE IN THE REAL WORLD ,IT AIN'T THAT EASY AT ALL(an old Alan Jackson song) and so very true. I. myself, as a youth, experienced that "hard reality". The difference between then and now was, I grew up , took hold, and handled it, I fear these kids, now, may not ever, MAN UP AND GROW UP.

In Australia and New Zealand Colleges and such - you have EVERY RIGHT to Peacefully Protest Speakers (a very rare occurrence and when protested it is minimum) but you do not however have the right to physically BLOCK peoples entry or exit from events - punishments range from temporary arrest to having to pay for money lost to community service - and thats just first time offenders

I've been reading Heather MacDonald's articles for a long time. She's one of the brightest people around. She's a outstanding scholar and it's a shame that people were not allowed to listen to her speak. This is serious, these disruptions of free speech on college campuses. I'd say this is FAR more important of a story than the fellow who was forcibly removed from the United Airlines flight. That story got 1000X more publicity than this MacDonald story. This story (and the one with Charles Murray not being allowed to speak temporarily at Villanova) is very important and why the Universities are allowing this to happen is beyond me. I'm glad it's been many years since I was an undergraduate student. If I was in the student body and people were attempting to interfere with my right of free speech, I'd probably be in a physical confrontation.

juscurious She is awesome,& I applaud her bravery and her common sense approach. These college kids don't want any part of having to be responsible for ANYTHING!!! A lot of them will be moving back in with their parents after college.Their approach to daily life was so disfigured in their teachings in their liberal colleges, that they're not hirable people.

Bill Reilly doesn't know anything about of the country's most diverse-of-thought (read: free speech/conservative) colleges in the country. As a fairly recent alumn though, man this is shocking. Even as a liberal, this is shocking. I come from a legacy family, my Dad and I both voted Bernie Sanders, neither of us can wrap our heads around this incident. These kids have lost it.
