Heya Krishna. Yes! Much like being right or left handed, people have a dominant hoop direction. As a general guide....most right handed people hoop to the left and most left handed people to the right. (this can be opposite though on occasion). It's certainly not a bad thing to only hoop one way. You CAN teach yourself to hoop in your non-dominant direction, however I'd only advise doing this when you're fully comfortable hooping in your natural direction. Practicing non-dominant for a few minutes a day at the start of your hoop session will pick up the ease of it pretty quickly. It will likely never feel as comfortable as your normal side though. Now I'm not a medical doctor, if you have specific medical factors that mean you need to be careful about muscle balance and movement around your back/waist etc, speak with them. I've been hooping for over 7 years and have never had any issues with only hooping to the left most of the time. Hope that helps!
