As a long time miyavi fan I can understand where you come from but i don't think its a bad thing. He's become famous for his guitar style and somewhat recently he's learned fluent english. So now he's focusing on the slap style and writing mostly english lyrics. Lyrically i wouldn't expect him to be like, shakespeare quite yet though :P

What might not work for you, works for many others. I'm sorry that you can no longer connect with his music but that doesn't mean he "sucks".
