Were you given special permission to film inside the museum? My Japanese friend has gone and says it’s forbidden to film inside the museum. What gives?

Some of the photos of the inside she showed were from the Ghibli Museum online site. She only filmed in a few spots that was not allowed like the inside entrance of the building and bathroom. The rest was allowed. Even I took a photo of the men's bathroom when I was there just last year. There was a neat art mural of Laputa landscape that they used for the men's bathroom window.
