It's already autumn, and I've been wanting to create a painting about this season. I remembered the house of Kiki's mom in the movie "Kiki's Delivery Service," where she had a collection of dried flowers and fruit. In autumn, I imagine Kiki would be busy helping her mom gather flowers and fruits. With this in mind, I came up with the concept for this artwork. I hope you enjoy it.

The time it takes to complete a painting can vary depending on the complexity and size of the piece. On average, a painting might take me several hours to a few days to finish. As for my preferred brushes, I usually opt for a variety of round and flat brushes in different sizes, depending on the details and textures I want to achieve in each painting.

May i ask what sketchbook are u using? And after 1 painting, do u use the back of the paper to paint another painting or do u skip every 1 paper?

Hi there! 😊 The sketchbook I'm currently using was actually a gift from a friend, so I can't provide specific information about where to buy it. However, I must admit that I don't highly recommend this particular sketchbook because the paper is quite thin and tends to wrinkle during painting. Therefore, what I usually do is, after finishing a painting on one page, I skip the next page and start a new painting on the following page. This helps prevent wrinkling issues. However, if your sketchbook has thick enough paper, you might not need to follow this step. It really depends on the quality and thickness of the paper you're using. 😊🎨

Thank you for your comment! If I don't apply the paint too thick, I can actually see the pencil sketch behind it. In areas where it's important to have a clear view of the sketch, I make sure to apply the paint more thinly.
