Yaosobi, which seems to be not just a singer, but a duo composed by a producer and a singer (according to google), is one of the biggest discoveries I've had in the channel, is it overrated? is it even good?

Yoasobi is a "superduo" of two mega successful solo artists. The music producer is Ayase who got famous for his Vocaloid work. The singer is Ikura famous for her novel based songs.

Almost right. Ayase who writes Yoasobi's music based on novels from various novelists they co-operate with is the one producing the songs. Ikura, who is a singer provides the vocals for Yoasobi as well.

Ok so anime context without spoilers Music plays a big role in it but is not the main focus of the story. The story is a bit complicated and twisted (can't say much without spoiling) but flows in such a way that the anime exposes the dark side of japanese entertainment industry, from idols, through actors, internet influencers to stage actors and staff that works behind their backs. The first episode is almost 90 minutes long and can be a standalone movie but is in fact a prologue to the story. It's really well written and emotional. One of the best animes that have come out in the recent decade.

So you didnt realize the characteristics of the idol and then the 2 teenagers. their eyes are the same as the idol. So ya you can guess what's going on. but if you read the english lyrics, it basically sums the main part of the anime. and if you understand what idols do, how and why they perform/act in such a way to the audience, then ya. this lyrics hits hard

You should totally watch the 1st episode. You'll feel emotions just as much as this song, if not more. It hits just as hard as AoT's 1st ep. The 2nd n 3rd Ep (the latest ep) are good. Maybe you can continue after finishing AoT when the episodes accumulates more.

You should honestly find the translated lyrics to this song, because the lyrics are extremely dark… just like the anime Oshi no Ko is. And you would never know that if you just listen to the song blindly.

The singer -Ikura actually just graduated from university during March this year. So she was a student back when she formed Yoasobi with Ayase. Japan really has a lot of talented musicians with diverse music genre especially in the anime industry.

Bro, YOASOBI es genial. Una de mis bandas Japonesas favoritas. Para darte algo de contexto si no los habias escuchado antes, Yoasobi es un duo compuesto x Ayase (Productor musical vocaloid) en musica/ composicion y Lilas Ikuta (o Ikura) (cantante/ compositora) en la voz. Si bien el estilo puede parecerse al de Ado, a ellos si se les conocen las caras. En cuanto a de que va el anime... lo mas que puedo decir es... "no exactamente". Creo q algunos esperaban q fuera una lolicon y...🤡 Oshi no ko es un anime bastante interesante que explora el "Lado B" de ser un idol y de la industria del entretenimiento en Japon. En cuanto a Yoasobi, solo con ver la cantidad de vistas q tuvo su video en cuestion de dias es 🤯😱. Han paticipado en x ej Rock in Japan festival, y ocupado en varias ocaciones los primeros puestos de Billboard Japon. En cuanto a esta cancion en particular es tremendo lo bien q supieron captar de q trata el anime. Y musicalmente algo q me sorprendio como alguien q los viene escuchando hace un tiempo es q usaron recursos como esos coros tan epicos q no son de lo q usualmente acostumbra Ayase a incluir en su musica. Si te gusto esta cancion te recomiendo: Yoru ni Kakeru ( Racing into the night) Romance If I could draw life Kaibutsu ( Monster) usado como 2do Op de Beastars Gunjo (Ultramarine Blue) Obviamente te recomiendo veas aunque sea el 1er ep de Oshi no ko que dura 1:30h es muy bueno e interesante. I was late to start watching「推しの子」& listening this song’s full ver. Not only singing like an idol way, also different elements such as rap parts and classical tech (likely Bach Chopin etc), I feel. So, to deepen understanding, the review by pro-musician is needed. I’m watching now on, thanking u for up video (^^) It was an unexpected review! It's complicated &difficult, adding ingenuity and elements in new popes(?). I think it's needed to point out multiple pro-musicians by various angles. I think it's definitely necessary to point out syncopation, bass, etc. He increased new way to understanding. (sorry for my poor Eng.)
