Do you happen to have a great video link explaining how the expander works? Or even a gate (since you say expander is like a gate)? The one you linked in your earlier mixing video about the compressor was very very helpful. Thank you for all you do!

Here is a video from my buddy Tim, he explains the basics of the expander and gate but its not exactly how I use the expander, for instance I use the expander to pull out a tom ring that lasts to long muddying up the mix, I can shorten the ring slowly which is more natural than having a gate simply cutting the ring out completely. as soon as I can find some time i will do a quick video that shows exactly how I do it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHvbZqV7at6djZo
