Studio Schrofer for JMS Wink collection

Inspired on the playful visual cue of flirtation and seduction, Studio Schrofer designed the Wink wooden dining, lounge and bar chair collection for Portuguese wood furniture manufacturer JMS. Select between sustainably sourced oak, birch or walnut woods for the desired warmth and color of the interior. The elliptically eye-shaped wooden back rest is the identifying feature. The back is ergonomically curved and shaped to enable guests to nourish long conversations, diners to linger over multiple course dinners, or professionals cherishing cocktails.
Winking “eyes” are matched with feminine fine legs and contour to match. She who Winks visually teases and amorously advances. Armrests are bejeweled with an anodized metal casting part that embellishes the slender armrests like bracelets. This simple adornment is repeated in the backrest, between the support and frame as a dainty decorative detail.
JMS continues to master wood materials by using CNC technology combined with traditional wood working skills, talents and expertise. This melding of machine and man create new eye popping designs with a contemporary twist leading to a signature style to their wooden chair collection.
