I have always had a soft spot for this figure because I remember in 2007 there was a huge snow storm that I had to walk through to get to the grocery store and they had him and he was the very first movie figure I ever got. And know with an updated version of him I will definitely be getting him.

I was so excited for this and then you put the vehicle side-by-side with the Deluxe and they were the same size. Back during the trilogy, Deluxe, Voyager and Leader used to make sense. Now I never know what I'm going to get.

The highway scene was great. But what could of made it better is, if they explained Barricade missing from the Battle. I‘m thinking Jazz could tackle Barricade and Held him off for a bit and then join the battle later. It could explain why Jazz didn‘t help Bee and Ironhide hold up the Furbie truck and just stood there in vehicle mode for the whole beginning of the battle. I know this doesn‘t have anything to do with Bonecrusher, but I just wanted to get it off my mind.

It actually has been explained already buddy. During the highway chase, when Barricade was trying to get close to Bumblebee, Ironhide got in his way, blocked his path and caused him to crash into a pillar. The crash knocked him offline, making him to miss out on the Mission City battle. And it wasn't until the Mission City battle had ended, that Starscream (the only survivor) looked for him and reactivated him and he regained consciousness. It's all in the comics (and the Transformers Wiki...).

Michael's Animations Well, he fought Bonecrusher (which I think is a way more suitable guy for Optimus to fight since they're both the same size more or less, and makes it possible to have such an epic highway scene where he destroyed several cars and smashed right through a bus splitting it into two) instead and showed up later in the Mission City Battle, so I don't see any problem there.

Haha, I don't know which is more awesome- the ballerina reference or the pose you put Bonecrusher and Optimus in at the end. I thought at first this figure was not only pretty much the same size as the Deluxe, but used more or less the same transformation scheme. Having looked more closely though, yes indeed this one is cooler. My ex girlfriend's nasty brat- excuse me, charming son- not only destroyed my Deluxe, but scattered the pieces pretty much all over the west side of Albuquerque, so I will definitely be buying this sucker.

What was impressive about Bonecrusher...was that he was NOT hesitant on taking Optimus on in a 1v1 to the death fight. He died courageously in that battle. But we all knew who was going to win in that fight. Speaking of which...Bonecrusher was the SAME size as Optimus! In terms of Vehicle size. It's almost impressive, really!

One of two possibilites, their optics are transferred, i.e. their eyes turn into, either the windshields or the headlights of their vehicle modes. I personally think it's the windshield since it gives them a greater panoramic view of their surroundings.

Does anyone else have an issue with the vehicle mode "hood" being really loose? Mine doesn't tab in at all and flops around if I move the mine rake boom at all. I'm also not really clear on where the vehicle hood goes in robot mode. It seems like it should fold down and back, because there's no other reason for those joints. However, it seems more secure and doesn't leave the weird gap behind his head if you leave it up.

While Bonecrusher didn't have much screentime in the old Michael Bay films, I was curious enough to learn the Decepticon berserker's backstory. Shame that Megatron didn't let him feel welcomed or important, to say the least. As for the toy? I'll be eager to see him on shelves for now. Haven't decided on buying him, though.
