Incredible studio(s) really impressive. Mrs C said don't get any ideas 🤭, it would take me a few seconds to do my tour. Keep up the good work and the videos coming Rachel.

Wow so much gear. I love your channel. Only discovered it last week when my Uke tutor let me borrow a bass Uke. Brought back happy memories of playing double bass and cello at school 60 years ago. Been playing tenor Uke for only 18 months with Goostrey Strum Club but definitely love the bass Uke. Thanks for great videos I'm learning so much at 75. Wish I started sooner. Good luck for your new projects in the future. Ann Martin

Thanks for your videos. I’m a fairly recent ukulele convert, but a longtime fan of northern Wales, from Conwy to Anglesey.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Bridgette. Some of those basses I’ve had for years and years but I’m just not playing all the big basses these days. 😳

Love the studio tour and you can't go wrong with a Phil Jones amp. I've got the suitcase and separate 5x4 and separate head.

Hi, Ecamm (only for Mac) is software which does many thing - live streaming, guest interviewing, recording videos and so much more. I love it and will be using it for my live lessons soon too.

Wow Rachel ! Amazed by your studio spaces but could you please tell me who produces the "Rosie the Riveter" style t shirt with the charvel style guitar logo tattoo on her ? As i watch on a dumbphone was hard to make out lettering ! ps more free floorspace for your furry back-up band😊

Thanks Titi 😊 The t-shirt is made by Emma, one of the ukumaniacs. I can ask her if she can do one for you? Daddies say woof to Harpo 😊

@@UkuleleWales oh that would be very kind about the t-shirt but remember I do live in Sydney. It has always struck me that folks who play music are always creative in other areas. I am about to begin teaching a friend's child the ukelele - she's as bright as button at 6 so looking forward to some fun & sneaking in some painless music theory ! Woofs from my woofer. Hope you are hale & hearty. Cheers Titi.

Hey Chris, all good here, just very much looking forward to finishing school soon. I can see you’ve made a few comments, I’m way behind so will answer those when I get to them. With the tech side of things, it’s a steep learning curve but a fun one. 👍

what is your favorite solid body mini bass. If you could only have one and why? LOve to hear your thoughts. And your favorite solid body ukulele and why? Thanks , love your content. I always go to you first. God bless.

Hi Randall, great questions but very difficult to answer. I genuinely don’t have an average favourite. There are some that I play less, but I will very often use different basses within 1 practice session and I’ll think yeah, this is the one, but then I’ll play another and change my mind - all the time. The bass I play least is definitely the Blackstar. With the electric ukes I have 2 favs and they are very different - The Flight Vanguard and my Fanner Exosphere - very different sounds / play / looks. Honestly, I just can’t pick 1.

What does "Shumai" (sp?) mean?
@thejabberwocki
@thejabberwocki 2 ай бұрын
Shwmae! Or su'mae, depending on which bit of Wales you're from. It's Welsh, it's a "hello/how are you/how's it going" greeting. Translates literally to english as "how is it" i think?
