Follow up. After the garbled sound, I disconnected the WS70+ for the night. I came back and they played sound, but it is very weird. The sound goes loud to quiet to loud to quiet...., like a sinusoidal wave. Completely useless. I wouldn't recommend these at all. I don't expect any kind of customer service from them. They will go to the bin. Be warned.

All good news Rachel. It’s terrible to have a job that disagrees with you. Most of us have experienced that at some time. Bass Direct, I’m drooling 😂

Rachel I am so happy things are well with you! Its a big jump when you "retire" from a long career but you have made it this far intact. I applaud you. Thanks for taking us along. I know producing these videos takes some of your valuable time but your fans appreciate it. Keep smiling my dear!

Hi Rachel, it goes two ways, I have a chronic illness which has rendered me disabled and whilst I manage to stay cheerful most days, there are days when I don’t. Today was one of those days and your video has brightened my day and yes, I have nominated you. A thank you from me❤

Getting out of the NEC and keeping your bearings can be tricky. Wherever you go, the trees are covering the signage, nevermind the diversions and potholes. You were so near to us at Bass Direct! Glad things have started to pan out for the better. Good luck with all the plates you have spinning! I expect the good thing is they are ones you have chosen. Question: I've stumbled upon the Aquila Shortbass instruments while pootling around the 'net. Do you know anything about them? The 60 one is a cutaway roundback that looks a lot like the Clearwater roundback baritones that I have (although the 60 has been eating its spinach!!). Best wishes Laura

I got the Vanguard, and I also got the WS70+. They worked for about an hour, then I got a lot of cracking with the sound. They say it has 10 channels, but there is nothing in the manual that says how to change the channels. Right now they are completely useless and have reverted to cable. I really hope I can get more than one hour worth of good sound from these wireless.

Just found these amazing vlogs 🎉, quick question I do t play an instrument I’ve got 2 left hands 10 thumbs and tone deaf 😂 but I’m getting a Bass Ukulele because I just love the tone and have a love of Jazz. Someone handed me the Hal Leonard Bass Method complete edition, despite the shorter scale would this book work for the Ukulele Bass???

Yooo, your intonation is crazy! I was looking for sound samples if this fellas fretted brother. I skipped through the video to the playing, and it took me until you actually slid a note for me to notice that this was a demo of the fretless 😂! Very thorough and informative videos, love your work, thanks heaps!

Thanks Rachel, lovely summary of what looks like an excellent weekend. Kept my eyes open for some of my East Coast (Colchester & thereabouts) compatriots lurking in the background, I know they really enjoyed this event in Eastbourne. I'm definitely going to try and get myself booked in for 2025. Thank you agaiin. (Lionel)

I really like your pedal reviews. I haven't had a lot of experience with pedals so it improves my understanding of what the labels mean; dry, wet, and an Octave pedal. I did have an idea what fuzz was at least. Thank you.

Good fun Rachel. It sounded best with your Warwick. I reckon it's the longer strings and the way they vibrate versus the shorter U-Bass strings. Thanks for sharing and hopefully you didn't disturb your husband downstairs!

Rachel goes ProgRock! The Octaver was tracking even the low E-string pretty well, not all Octaver are capable of that. The Fuzz OTOH sort of takes a while to get used of it. Aehemmm. Well, its a matter of taste, isn't it?.

Not all heros wear capes but they do help me trouble shoot my uke!! My E string on one of my fender ukes refuses to get picked up on the amp😑. I tried replacing the batteries as a last ditch effort but no luck.. P.s I'm going to search every inch of the globe until I find your shirt!😅

Ive owned one a couple of years and have accidently knocked it off a coffee table, dropped it on a concrete floor from chair height and it is still working. I have also used it with a 9 volt battery outdoors with a jbl eon one compact battery powered p.a..
