Studio Update - Sorting out Storage and Back to Printmaking

I'm settling in now and storage is going up. The drawer sliders are full extension ones - the link to Amazon is to give you an idea - no need to shop there if you prefer not to!

We've sat the glass shower curtain on a sheet of padded table covering which ensures a bit of give to avoid any danger of cracking it.
The mini prints I mention (apologies again for saying High Force was in Yorkshire!) will be coming up soon in some more print based films and also for sale in my shop as mini prints.

Kirkcudbright, sounds a perfect climate for mokuhanga printing. You must be roughly the same latitude as Lucy-May Schofield in the wilds of Nortjumberland. Hope the creative vibes are strong!

Hi Laura Just a question about nori paste When you buy it in the bottle (the green bottle you see whenever you search for nori paste) will that go off as when I google if it goes off it says 4days but didn’t know if that was the same for that product or if they have used a additive to make it keep for longer?

That stuff will keep forever - it’s home made fresh that has a very short life. I’ve green bottles years old that are perfect 🙂

Hi Laura, I love your videos, can I just ask how much of a difference do you find between your professional rollers and student rollers except for the size, best wishes Denise

The student ones perform fine, but they don’t have as much give as the professional ones, nor are they as big and nothing like as expensive 🙂
