do you put on that sticker on the bubble mailer or does the post office do that for you? what do i do after putting my orders in the bubble mailer? im very new at this and google has some confusing answers(?) so could you help me out plz? :)
@TanaMakes4 жыл бұрын
I use USPS and purchase and print my labels directly from Shopify and Etsy. After packaging the orders, I put the shipping label on myself and then you can either just drop it off at a USPS drop box, go into the post office and hand it directly to them, or schedule a pickup with your mailman to pick it up at your home. I usually just drop it off at a drop box so I don't have to actually go into the post office, and if I have something large that won't fit in a drop box, then I schedule a pickup so my mailman can pick it up for me. If you drop it off at a drop box, just pay attention to the pickup time on the drop box so you know if the order will be in transit that same day. My post office's dropbox picks up at 5pm, so it I need orders to go out that same day, I make sure to drop it off before then. Hope that helps!

hey ive been trying to do this but idk what metal to use some website say sterling silver some say stainless steel do you mind telling me
@TanaMakes4 жыл бұрын
Sterling silver is a lot more expensive, much softer so it's easier to stamp, but it oxidizes meaning it'll turn color when left out and would need repolishing to get it's silvery shine back. It is a great metal for those who are highly sensitive to metal. Aluminum is another softer metal that is easier to stamp, extremely inexpensive, and it is actually less likely to cause an allergic reaction that sterling silver. It never turns color. Stainless steel is much more affordable than sterling silver, but a little more than aluminum. It does not oxidize meaning it will never change color and you can even wear it while working out or in water. It is a harder metal which is good for sturdiness, but since it is so hard, it is a lot harder to stamp. Stainless steel especially surgical grade is rare to ever cause an allergic reaction. Of all the bracelets I've sold, including to people who say that they are really sensitive, I've never had a complaint about an allergic reaction. Stainless steel can have very trace amounts of nickel though which helps its flexibility, but some suppliers also make nickel-free stainless steel. It's all up to your preference. If you want bracelets you can sell for less, aluminum is great. If you want to be fancier and sell more expensive bracelets, sterling is the way to go. If you want a middle ground, stainless steel is great. I personally choose using metal that never tarnishes or changes color over anything because I'm lazy and don't like worrying about having to take care of my jewelry. I recommend buying small quantities of all three, stamping them, wearing them, and seeing how you like them. There are many etsy shops that sell all sorts of metal blanks. Just test and see what works for you.

Hi there!! I just had a quick question about stamping, I have been doing it for a while, and I’m realizing that my B’s are just all over. For some reason, I can’t take it in one single whack, how can I use more pressure without being dangerous, and is it the font I’m using?
@TanaMakes4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I use a hand stamping machine, so I don't have to deal with whacking anything with a hammer anymore and that helps a lot. Also, it could be the stamping set. Not all of them are perfect and the quality between each letter can vary a lot. I used to buy multiple, less expensive sets and pick the best letters from each. Or you can invest in a pricier, higher quality set.
@bxllsa57694 жыл бұрын
@@TanaMakes sounds great!! It could just be the letters, I use impress art’s geisha set right now, which is quite tricky, I think maybe I can find a way to replace certain letters

Just found came across this vid on my feed and wanted to let you know I really enjoyed watching your order process! I've been getting into sublimation for shirts and accessories and went with an epson printer because *its what everyone else has* -that's said with an eye roll lol. Did you start with the Sawgrass? Or did you go through other printers first? I just bought a smaller ecotank and I'm hoping the print quality is there. I used to run a stationary shop on etsy and fell in love with Canons for quality. I'm nervous that epson is the brand most people use for sublimation because it was a terrible brand for quality images (specifically for what I needed) a few years back. Anyway, fingers crossed things have changed lol!
@TanaMakes4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching - I'm glad you enjoyed! The sawgrass is my first and only sublimation printer. I got it because I placed an order for a bunch of sublimation and heat pressing supplies on heatpressnation.com and that printer was recommended and part of a bundle. I haven't had any issues with it yet! The only annoying part is not being able to print directly from apps such as photoshop - you have to save the file first and then print through the sawgrass print manager. I've seen other youtubers use an epson as well, so I hope it works out for your needs!
