​@Kumbikouture hey just looked at your page. Just have a few questions. Who is your target market is it children ? adults ? What age group ? What's the back story what's your personal why ??? I really wanted to connect with your product but I didn't see a storyline for each art peace. I think you need to add a bundle deal the holidays are comming up. I didn't see a name for each piece. I think you should go on fiver and find someone to help you create your story in a way that people can connect with your product. So manythings ran through my mind as I looked to you sight that could possibly help. Please don't take what I'm saying in a negative way. I truly understand how hard it is to get things going. We all need help. No man is an island no man or women stands alone. If your interested I don't mind speaking with you no charge just would love to connect to help. Your work is so beautiful. I would be confused as well. But as a shop owner myself, I know we must be kind to ourselves. It takes a bit to get going. You learn from errors and successes along the way. Don't give up though! You will reach your niche audience with promotion and persistence.

I feel the same way! It isn’t super hard but very time consuming with taking pictures, editing, posting. The shipping is tricky and building collections is quite hard. I stick to it and I have 11 sales. Not a lot but I keep at it and someday it will take off. Don’t be hard on yourself Rome wasn’t built in one day.❤

Hi, I am also a new mom and a new creator who is new and struggling as well, no sales after a month on Etsy, lol. This is the first vblog I've seen that actually shows how frustrating it can be just trying to print and cut things out. The amount of paper and materials I have wasted because my cutter just does not work right. Love your characters and your shop, you got this.

First let me say your illustrations are 💯🔥I was with Etsy when they first appeared. 😉 Yes, I'm that old. They are an easy platform to start but definitely concentrate on your own site and other platforms. Build up your own customer list. As we've all seen Etsy can shut a shop down and you are stuck. I left them years ago because the prices kept increasing and if you went on holiday and closed the shop for that time period it knocked you down with the algorithm. Etsy has also become so saturated with people selling junk and temu items. You are a gifted artist. Have you considered adding on additional services such as childrens book illustration?

Wow ❤️ thank you for your words of encouragement. Yes Etsy has become so wild. I feel that they have lost their values which initially was to help creators sell their HAND MADE products. Which is sad. I have thought of illustrating children's book. I find it hard to work out my price points and contracts. I will do some research. But, thank you so much for the support ❤️

Hello! Regarding your problem with the silhouette machine, maybe it’s not cutting right because of the lamination over the registration marks. I am planning to buy a silhouette machine and I’ve been watching so many tutorials and they all said to either not laminate the registration marks, or to put matte scotch tape over. Apparently the shine messes up with the detection of the registration marks. Hope this can help, keep up the good work! I am planning to open my own online store but right now I am drowning in all the things that need to be done, but you did all that! That is not a failure on my book, even without any sales!

Keep moving forward !! Not making a sale doesn't mean you did anything wrong. You just need to keep moving !!!I keep creating try different things. Stop beating yourself up. Starting out is hard. Do hive ways partner with other creative people. Do craft shows, try local events where children will be keep moving Do bundle deals. Find channels that promote children items and black women businesses, mothers, and lots of channels where you can gift your product for them to showcase. Try Tabitha brown she does promote black business's
