Studio Vlog 10 : Pre-packaging before a restock

Hello, friends. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? September is strangely always a busy time for my shop. I think mostly has to do with my productivity and keeping my shop stocked up. One of the things I wanted to improve on this year, was getting your orders packed faster without sacrificing much of the little details. The faster, I pack the orders, the quicker I can get to work on products and just have a better flow and balance in the shop. So pre-packing has proven to be quite useful in my packaging process. I generally do all this before I list products and that way when the orders come in, I am all ready to go. The only things I leave for later, are the envelope decorations and thank you cards. Now my branding and packaging are all over the place, I am currently slowly switching to my new branding (thanks to Stylish Creative) as I finish the old packaging. The colors, stickers are all a mess, I know, but soon I hope it will come together nicely. ❤️

P.S Please watch in 4K, this is not a 4k video but I found a fix for the terrible youtube compression on my videos. I also am having a focus issue, which I thought was due to the compression but I have a feeling it's from my lens (I have dropped my camera a few times 🙈) so I will work on that too. and hope I can get clearer videos soon. 😭

Also, was that a huge glue gun? Or is that actually wax in there? (I’ve seen some people use colored hot glue instead of wax)

Thank you so much! No it's wax sticks. I did use clear glue for a while but the impression wasn't so great and also the glue residue sticks to the stamp and eventually gets so hard to remove the stamp from the wax. In the end I had to properly clean my stamps to get rid of all the traces and since then I only use wax. I also recommend you have a glue gun for both things separately. One for only wax sticks and the other for glue. 😊

Softly Studio ty for reply! I’ve never seen a glue gun that big and didn’t know you could buy wax that would fit in there. I’ve only ever seen the small sticks....

@@cindyhenry1410 hehe I don't think it's that big. Maybe on camera it looks so 🙈and generally they come in 7mm or 11mm sticks. I use the 11 which is slightly thicker.
