Hello, hang on there! I feel you! Sometimes I feel discouraged finding my dream job here in France related to my degree in Engineering but no chance because of many circumstances and requirements. So I tried different jobs like housekeeping, English tutorial at home and now I'm working in the restaurant and got a regular job. It's not my dream job but I'm so lucky I got a regular job in which I can help my family with the expenses and more. For now, I'm happy with my job though it's not my dream job because I feel comfortable with the environment at my workplace and the relationship with my boss and co-worker are fine. I'm doing my stationery shop soon but for the moment I'm processing the whole thing first before launching. Good luck to you!

Aww I’m so sorry about your work situation. My company hires foreigners so I know the research that has to go into hiring someone that’s not native to the country. The companies probably never had any experience with sponsoring someone so you’re right they don’t want to do the work/research. But I’m happy about your recent interview and sending good vibes your way. I hope they hire you!!! Also love your sketches!! ❤️

I feel you . Since I moved to Germany and I have an European passport from another country even if I'm half Asian . So yes I did hear that in America if your not white is hard to find a job but if you move to any country and don't have the passport or documents from the country they usually will say oh your to qualified for us and that's it . In the situation that we are in right now is even harder to find something I'm an accountant but since moving to Germany I worked only in delivery because no one want an accountant with 5 languages right ? I did start KZbin but I'm not near interesting like you are . I actually will have my first interview in 9 months today . So I hope you will have more luck with your job hunting to and don't worry about the situation anymore :)

So sorry for that job hunting immigration situation, that sounds so stressful. I have to renew my passport and visa this year and I am not looking forward to it, even though it should be relatively straightforward and not reliant on a job. It still gives me soooo much anxiety. I really hope that job works out for you! 🤞🤞🤞 Sending you good vibes! 🙌💖

I am so sorry you are going through that :( One of my close friends is in the US from India and she requires sponsorship. She is finding it impossible to find a new job because companies keep turning her away because she needs sponsorship :( It just sucks...those companies are missing out on amazing employees by limiting themselves.

Unless they said its because you are Asian its not because you're Asian. If you are a citizen it has nothing to do with white. If you were a citizen and Asian and qualify they wouldn't deny you unless someone is more qualified. Now if you are upfront about it and they discredit you because its just easier to get a citizen, that sucks a lot :/ I feel the deck is against people who try to do things legally. And people who show up without papers, not trying to be upstanding just get all the attention. Unless they said to your face its because you are Asian, believe me it is because they are lazy. If you were from france or britian they would be just as lazy. I hope you get an employer who values you enough to do the process you need to get a job to stay! ❤
@madebymalin4 жыл бұрын
Ahh I didn’t mean to say it’s because im asian; the word I used was “alien” because that’s how we (international/foreigners) are described legally!
@nataliae.marroz4 жыл бұрын
Finding a job in general is hard if you're foreigner - especially if you require extra documents or someone needs to go out of their way for you. Doesn't matter if you're an Asian in another Asian country or European in another European country. You shouldn't really look for the reasons why you're not "good enough" because the reason is: not many people are willing to hire someone if they have to do something extra and they have other candidates that doesn't require anything like that and are as good as you. Simple laziness at its finest.
