In this week's video I do some final shop update prep, pack some shop orders, and venture out to my new favorite tree for some Mary Oliver poetry reading on the first day of Spring! The cherry blossoms are bursting and it makes me so happy. I had to smile seeing you wrap my order Randi. You put so much care into it and I for one appreciate all the artistic details right down to the little fern on the sticker. Mary Oliver is my favorite poet so I also enjoyed your reading one of her poems that fit the first day of spring so well along with the bird song. The cherry blossom trees are in full bloom here in PDX. I enjoyed walking the Portland waterfront yesterday with all the cherry blossom trees out in force as well as at the Portland Japanese Garden. I thoroughly enjoyed walking in Washington Park and got a few miles in and more just enjoying nature and the sunshine. Looking forward to your shop update tomorrow. Lovely to see so many wonderful magical spring moments! It has been so sunny lately here in Northern England as well, spring really is around the corner and I cannot wait for all the birds to return to our gardens and the coast. ☀️ The old faithful robins, thrushes and blackbirds are busy as usual and I also spotted a wren today!
